There appears to be some confusion as to whether the result stands, after this meeting was abandoned after 12 heats. And I have been informed that Tai is spitting feathers over it as he didn't even get his 3 rides in due to an EF and therefore did not qualify......

But the BSPA site does contradict that............I think Tai has every right to spit some feathers........rules are rules, or should be anyway!!

Looks like it does stand.
And from the BSPA:
Daniel King and Richard Hall could not be split for eighth place, and they will race-off immediately before the Final at Monmore Green on June 14.

He may not have had an EF had he been riding his own machinery instead of Johnno's....(or so it states in an article on the GP website). Unless Joe Haines qualifies next week there'll be no home rider in the field, which probably means a crap attendance and it looking awfully empty on the telly.
