There's been another meeting in Rybnik, and Krzysztof Cegielski has proposed the following: 1..Reintroducing half points in the event of a tied heat. 2..Allowing all four back in cases where an incident occurs after the first bend. 3..The Golden Helmet to be the meeting which decides places for the Individual Polish Championships. There is also discussion on the merging of divisions 1 and 2 for 2011. www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2009/10/28/zagraniczne-zespoly-zostaja-relacja-z-pierwszego-dnia-spotka/

Krakow still haven't been given their Liga 2 license, but it's looking like they will be riding again in 2010, and are in talks with Russian Under 19 Champion, Andriej Kudriaszow, and Grzegorz Strozyk.
And in Liga 1, Rzeszow will be announcing their team on December 17th, with speculation being that there will be two Brits included - a return to Marma for Scott Nicholls, perhaps?

The Brits may be finding it hard to get a team on home turf, but not so in Poland, as Rzeszow have reportedly signed Lee Richardson, Scott Nicholls AND Chris Harris.

I thought that was unlikely - Nicholls left Rzeszow a couple of years ago, and the chances of him and Harris being in the same team were always minimal. Rzeszow's team will be: Lee Richardson Rafal Okoniewski Mikael Max Maciej Kuciapa David Lampart Ludvig Lindgren Lukasz Kret sportowefakty.pl

Marta Poltorak says that Scott Nicholls put too many conditions on a possible contract, and that's the reason they didn't want him back.

Joonas Kylmakorpi has been hit with a hefty fine (20,000 Euros) for getting into a heated debate with Grudziadz boss, Michal Pawlaszczyka, and refusing to ride in poor track conditions.

I saw that on Sportowefakty. Google translate came out as something like JK wanted to enter into boxing with the Grudziadz boss ;D That's a heck of a fine! Track must have been awful. JK always moans about the track, but he'll usually give it a go no matter what it's like.

Statements have been issued by both sides (team and rider) and the long and short of it is Joonas and Rybnik have kissed and made up.
