Radio has a bigger problem because it's more personal, but, if I give it enough thought, I'm sure I could find a way of fitting it in. Wait! Don't do anything without telling us - we'll all tune in. ;D Off to my bed too, SL.

Actually, it's been done before, both intentionally and unintentionally; Nicky Campbell famously tripped over the phrase 'Kent countryside' a couple of years ago, as have many newsreaders; I've included the word during a few rounds of the popular radio presenter's challenge, 'I bet you can't say this during your show', and Kenny Everett did it in the most subtle, but funny, way during an episode of Captain Kremmen.

And the swearing thread at the BSF is locked.

Well Honie is managing to flapperjack all over the BSF today, maybe we will have to find a few more substitute words. Must admit the thought of the censorship police chasing thro threads on BSF appeals to my weird sense of humour. Cuts down the time they have to censor anything else too ;D

Dear Guest I don't know who you are as you haven't had the courage to speak to me personally, but let me just say your little plan, whatever it is, has backfired for two reasons: 1. I never slated Steve Turner for locking the swearing thread, as you told him I did - my posts are proof of that, and 2. I happen to get on okay with Steve and he told me what you said. Being a fair person I’m happy to discuss whatever issue it is you have with me, though I doubt you’ll take me up on that offer. Meantime I’m not going to let you get to me. If we, here, offend you so much I’m not sure why you bother reading in the first place.

I work for CTR in Maidstone. If you go to www.ctrfm.com, you might be able to listen online, assuming your isp is registered in the UK, if not, due to another fucking brilliant idea from PRS, you may find you're geolocked out. And you're the only one without a profile. Come on Dk, don't let standards slip. I'm sure you can come up with something better than some of the others on there so we can all have a good chuckle.

I did submit a mildly amusing and totally spurious biog, but it never got onto the site for some reason and I can't be bothered to do it again, largely because the website will be completely changed in a couple of months time, but also because I'm not expecting to be there much longer. Incidentally, I hope you didn't try and listen on Saturday, that was one of the worst shows I've ever done!

PS, I've seen the E-On ad as well now, and it looked strangely familiar to me; been to that seafood pub just up from the seafront car park many a time, as I have to many Thorley Taverns (and the V/O is Bill Nighy, not Hugh Dennis, not that you would care even a little bit!)

That's the Tartar Frigate. Went there a while ago when Chicory Tip were playing. It's an old smuggler's pub and there are reputedly tunnels under it, but I got a pretty blank look from the manager when I asked him about them - I ended up telling him more about the history of the place than he knew.
And no, I wasn't listening Saturday, but I might this week!

Young McC (ssamyarse) will laugh his bollocks off when he finds out about this - the perfectly innocent word he came up with to replace the "c" word here, now being filtered by the most prominent speedway forum in the country. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
