I do find it rather odd that a completely random word used to replace the only unacceptable swear word in polite society on this forum, should then in turn be replaced an another on a different forum; it's a well used phrase, but it's PC gone mad! ;D No it's power gone to their head. They simply do it because they can The really weird thing about it is, nowhere in any taste and decency legislation is the 'c' word actually banned, it only comes top of the list of 'recommended not to be used' offensive words or phrases; if I can find a decent context, I could get away with broadcasting it at 10 o'clock on a Saturday morning.

I gave in to temptation and tried to post it on the BSF. Comes out as ######. I think they're just jealous they couldn't come up with such a brilliant word replacement. Edit: Dk which station do you work for?

Edit: Dk which station do you work for? What did you try and post, c*** or flapperjack? I work for CTR in Maidstone. If you go to www.ctrfm.com, you might be able to listen online, assuming your isp is registered in the UK, if not, due to another fucking brilliant idea from PRS, you may find you're geolocked out.

As I said, it's not actually banned, you just have to find a context to use it in; movies get away with it because they can always say it depicts real life language, TV gets away with it ever more regularly (for the same reason) providing it's post watershed. Radio has a bigger problem because it's more personal, but, if I give it enough thought, I'm sure I could find a way of fitting it in.

Made my last flapperjack contribution to BSF of the night. Having run them round in circles for about an hour, I'm off to my bed. Night all ;D
