Dekks, wasn't it against a heavily depleted Glasgow select side, though? Hardly counts does it? From what I recall, when Edinburgh took on a full strength Glasgow at Ashfield in the PL, they took a right pasting. Anyway, glad that the Monarchs won, so that honours are even at 2-2 between the two heathen sides in 2009, with Glasgow triumphant on aggregate in the Spring Trophy and Premier League, and Edinburgh in the Premier Trophy and Scottish Cup. (That'll get Davy going ;D ;D)

Dekks, wasn't it against a heavily depleted Glasgow select side, though? Hardly counts does it? Actually Oxford Parrot it was a team 2pts higher in average terms than the normal Glasgow side. So hardly depleted. Not that it did them much good, however i was surprised that Glasgow as usual prepared a slick track and yet the Monarchs managed to out gate them. Decidedly end of season feel to the Tigers, but truthfully they have been woeful for last few seasons since they reigned in the purse strings in not importing the likes of Bird at great expense. They need to unearth another Scrabbleman seriously quickly and hope that Nick Morris stays on his bike more than he has demonstrated so far. maybe try to recoup some of the 20K spent on Crash K and Ross Brady, although doubt they will get more than small change back. Pity Parker seems to have stained his status at Glasgow and is seemingly gone, no more Messiahdone alas. Hope paulco's daughter is better but i think he was better off not seeing this performance.

But I suggest to avoid any ambiguity next season we revert to beating the Chickens 8 times - again
