YOUR boys are leaving this 'comeback' a bit late Genghis. Hmmm, my one night of backing Swindon & the mighty Rosco hasn't really worked, so normal service will be resumed next Monday. Now come off it Mr. Peasepud sir, own up to the fact that your one and only night of backing Rosco and the Budgies worked an absolute treat by well and truly putting the proverbial mockers upon them! ;D

I was thinking that myself Bryn, a Wackie and a Silverthingy both backing Swindon tonight - had to be the kiss of death didn't it. Maybe Swindon will turn it all around and be triumphant for the first time in over 4 decades next monday, or maybe they'll wheel the same 7 riders out again as they did tonight and get a proper arse kicking at home. Hmmm, do I attend the second leg?

What's the score, please? 54-38 McGowan has gone back to being McGowan, did anyone actually see him without his helmet on earlier in the season.

Perhaps one of you tactical geniuses who are criticising Swindon's use of a TR in heat 13 would like to explain what exactly you would have done.
I'd be quite interested to find out.

In my experience Grachan, a failed TR has a very negative effect on the riders - and also on the fans. The Karlsson/Lindgren partnership has been virtually unbeatable at Monmore this season. Adams was clearly not having a good night, and Zagar - although riding well, has already claimed it wasn't his favourite track, and didn't seem to be that up for it. Personally (and it's easy for us all to be armchair team managers), I'd have just gone for the TR in 14, rather than risk letting the riders heads drop before the vital Heat 15. Just an opinion.

Your post suggests there was more than one poster(Munners) who disagreed with the use of the heat 13 tactical, Munners has given you her opinion, for what it's worth i thought it was a no-brainer, although i would probably have entrusted Adams. Who are the "geniuses" who you think were against it ?

THICK AS PIG SHIT - BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, what a charmer. Thank you Well it was an incredible stupid post you made. The Swindon TR in heat 13 was an absolute no-brainer and Rosco would have been slaughtered if he hadn't have made it, irrespective if it worked or not. Stick to being a paying punter and leave management to the professionals.

Personally, and I said his before the race, I would have selected Adams as TR rather than Zagar, as gate 2 had just won two races whereas gate 4 seemed to have gone all the boil. But, in the event, neither would have worked.
Munners, in any case, it had to be tried. There were only Heats 13 & 14 left in which to use the two tactical rides, so it was case of nothing ventured, nothing gained. To be honest, most of the time the riders are so involved in keeping their bikes ticking over, that they don't watch the race before the one they are in.
But there was no need for Snophie (aka £250) to be so offensive in his reply, as you are quite entitled to your opinion.
And I also wonder who all these tactical geniuses are who Grachan was referring to, since Munners was the only one who had disagreed with the use of a TR in Heat 13. Grachan, who was it you are responding to??

You seem to be imagining some posts on here, old chap. Fret not, with the second leg taking place at Abbey Road (accordingly to Kelvin), it's not over yet. All you need to do is invite Sir Paul McCartney along (sans shoes, of course) and ask him to walk out onto the zebra crossing every time a Wolves rider is winning a race. Actually I'm thinking of travelling up The Long And Winding Road (the A420) next Monday myself to see if it will all Come Together for the Robins or whether they will have to Let It Be for another season.

Poor post Genghis, it was an Atrocity Exhibition, you have no Insight, and are a Candidate for Subedei's Colony, i'll give you 24 Hours to put more Heart and Soul into your posts, you've been in Isolation, the Wilderness for too long, so i suspect you would need Decades, when my Transmission is over you will no doubt Remember Nothing, you've Lost Control, and when the New Dawn Fades, and the Day of the Lords, comes your life your Eternal life will Passover, and all that will be left is the Sound of Music.
