We head off to Monmore Green on Monday for the first leg of the final. Peter Adams must already be aware of whether PK is fit to participate, as declarations have to be made five days before the meeting, but there's no news, as yet, on Wolves' website.
It does, however, mention the gates will open at 6pm after Ladbrokes agreed to end the greyhound racing early - a nice gesture, I thought.
And the news from Swindon is that Paul Hurry returns to partner Morten Risager, and Ryan Fisher rides at number two.

Our mic man interviewed PK in our pits on Monday night, and he said that he's aiming for the first leg of the final, but as always with these things, they'll have to take it right to the wire and see how fit he is. I think Hatcham is right tho, a half fit PK won't help the Wolves. They would probably score better from R/R - and he can still be influential in the pits as a non-rider. Good luck to the Wolves though. They beat us comprehensively, and I'd like to see them go on and win it.

With heat betting out but not for races including the Wolves number 5, i presume a decision on Karlsson has not been made yet.

Come on the Swindon Budgies (Did I really say that?? ) Having crunched the numbers and even allowing for the mistake of bringing back Karlsson too soon, i can only see one result which is an absolute pasting for the boys from Wiltshire, the poor little Robins are going to be eaten alive by the wee-smelling wrong un's. Adams is no longer the force of old, Zagar and the Fishster seem to be running out of steam, McGowan looks poor(again), Stead hates the track, Hurry is too old, so that just leaves the unreliable returning ex Wolf........................it dont look pretty.......
