Another home defeat, looks like the Star scribes knew more about Glasgows team than Dumb and Dumber, Big signing Lee Dicken rode like a dinosaur while Wee Soldier Davey proved fallible yet again if he doesnt roll at the gate.

acheffenbacher tells it like it is. It's back to the drawing board for the Tigers. I'm not so sure. The previous work the Tigers hammered a Newport team who had perfomred well at Worky just 24 hours before. Glasgow will be OK once Josh is back. They do need to need to replace Brady though - not only to strengthen, but also because it the Tigers start to use rider replacement every meeting, people might confuse them with Edinburgh "R/R" Monarchs.

acheffenbacher tells it like it is. It must be Dekker then, because he's got Mignight Lady defending him. ML - Dekker has never told it as it is, for starters the bloke's got something against both Oxford and Glasgow, the two clubs with the finest supporters in the country.

An interesting opinion , but of course complete and utter nonsense . Naturally losing at home to Berwick was disappointing , every home defeat is . But that was more down to determined riding by the Bandits on the day , rather than our own misgivings . I don't think the Bandits riders and management were given enough credit for what was a wonderful performance on Sunday . Yes the Ross Brady situation cannot be allowed to continue , but Josh will be back soon and once an adequate replacement for Ross is in place we'll be fine .

Oxford, not really i just counterbalance the hypocritical propaganda that you used to spout before everyone gave up and they tar maced the place. As for Glasgow Paulco knows its just banter, although if moves for Leverington are true seems they are hell bent on recreating the failed team from last year.

Dekker, but surely the 2008 Glasgow team didn't include James Grieves??? Which means your argument is pure nonsense. As an example, the mighty 2001 Oxford Cheetahs team was effectively the 2000 team with Leigh Adams added to it - we went from eight out of nine in 2000 and the best team the Elite League has ever seen in 2001.

You forgot to take out Lukas Dryml Rico, Lukas was a major player in 2001. He totted up great scores up until his injury at the end of May, which won us away meetings at Coventry, Peterborough & King's Lynn. Whilst he was out injured, the average Lukas has gained out on track then allowed us to use top guests such as Martin Dugard and Craig Boyce and consolidate the top place in the league which Lukas had got us in the first place. Ironic that you were knocking a team using facilities for a properly injured rider, given what the Edinburgh "R/R" Monarchs have been getting up to in the last two seasons.

Pray tell what have Edinburgh been 'getting up to' ? The irony, my dear Genghis, is you were happy to put the boot into Monarchs for using r/r for the 'invisible rider' yet clearly you were happy to have the benefit of a facility when it suited your beloved teams purposes. Go on, give me the dates of Mr Dryml's injury absense from the UK and I'll find a few meetings he rode in on the continent. But that's ok though isn't it, because it was for darling Oxford. Dryml-gate left a bad taste in quite a few mouths and certainly tarnished the Cheetahs very narrow championship win. Rico

Rico, Dryml was injured on May 30. Please find a meeting he rode abroad during June and July. Except for one World U21 round, when he rode with the injury strapped up, something many riders (e.g. Peter Collins, Kenny Carter, etc ) have done over the years. Happy hunting. Anyway, stop drifting off topic this thread is supposed to be about Glasgow.

And his actual return date to UK racing was ? And what have Edinburgh 'been up to' ? You can't expect to throw accusations around and not be asked for an explanation. Rico
