Zenon Plech will be in charge of the Bydgoszcz team on Sunday, but his future after that is unclear. After Sunday's heavy defeat at Gdansk, Plech offered his resignation to the club's executive board, but a decision seems to have been deferred until club the board had studied a report from president Leszek Tillinger about that defeat in Gdansk: www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2009/05/27/plech-zostaje-w-polonii-przynajmniej-do-niedzieli/Meanwhile, Leszek Tillinger has decided not to proceed with legal action against the Polonia Bydgoszcz Net Fans over the contents of two open letters. The Polonia fans still seem to want Tillinger out, but his future is in the hands of Bydgoszcz's city authorities who are the majority shareholders in the club.

Bad news for Torun ahead of their visit to Gorzow, as the club reveal that Chris Holder has injured himself while riding moto x in order to keep himself "in touch" during a break in fixtures: www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2009/05/28/chris-holder-kontuzjowany/Torun are considering using Rider Replacement for Holder in Sunday's meeting against Gorzow.

Heavy rain the Czestochowa area in recent days could cause a problem for the meeting on Sunday. Those of you with decent memories will recall that the postponement of a play-off meeting at Czestochowa last season caused quite a stir over in Poland. And Czestochowa are taking no chances, publishing photographs of the current state of the track and assuring everyone that as long as the rain holds off, the meeting should go ahead: www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2009/05/30/stan-toru-w-czestochowie-zdjecia/

And today's televised fixtures are:
Wroclaw versus Zielona Gora - 3:00pm BST Czestochowa versus Gdansk - 5:30pm BST
Going to be a tough ask for struggling Wroclaw, global superstar and all, against fast-starting Falubaz, while Czestochowa will be without world champion Nicki P and without a facility the Lions could struggle.

No meeting in Wroclaw today, as inclement weather sees a postponement - so, the global superstar rushed away from Gothenburg for nothing.

Good ride from Sayfutdinov in heat 4 there. He put the fear of god into Skornicki. What is it with Hans Andersen? He won heat 3 and looked like the greatest rider in the world yet last night he looked like he was having his first rides. Poole must be worried now

Big Whoops from me.
I've only just realised that the Gdansk/Bydgoszcz meeting currently being shown is a re-run of a previous meeting.
Me Bad.
