This one could go either way, in my opinion. Much will depend on the top guys Hampel and Harris. Hampel has been in great form for Moscow on Orwell this season, although he is always likely to throw in at least one duff race each meeting. Harris is more or less the opposite, generally poor but often likely to throw in an inspired ride here or there.

Be interesting to see how Kristiansen goes in this Elite meeting as he has been going well for Stoke.

Be interesting to see how Kristiansen goes in this Elite meeting as he has been going well for Stoke. Sadly won't get to find out, apparently injured last night, so Klaus Jakobsen will ride instead. And confirmation from Lovespeedway site: Must three points for Ipswich - Simmons

Ipswich Witches v Coventry Bees
Elite League
Foxhall Stadium, tonight 7.30pm
By Mike Bacon
AFTER another pointless showing on the road, this time at Wolverhampton on Monday night, Ipswich Witches will be looking for all three points at home to Coventry tonight.
The Suffolk side have yet still to get into top gear this season and with the Elite League table taking shape, it is beginning to show the Witches getting cut off from the play-off top six, defeat tonight cannot be considered.
“We must get three points, simple as that,” said Witches team boss Pete Simmons.
“There is a gap appearing in the table and we have to make that up.
“It was another disappointing effort at Wolverhampton. I did say they had some weak links and sure enough they did, but we weren't strong enough to make the most of them.”
Tonight's visitors Coventry beat the Witches in a last-heat decider in the opening Elite League fixture of the season at Foxhall and, in general, have had some decent results at Ipswich in past seasons.
However they have injury problems, with both Olly Allen and Ben Barker suffering from broken legs.
“I think Barker and Allen were two of their better scorers in that early season meeting,” Simmons added.
“Especially Allen who is a good starter.
“Last week against Peterborough we came from 12 points behind, but we can't afford that sort of start again. We must be more positive from the start.”
The Witches welcome back Tobi Kroner, who chipped a tooth and suffered whiplash injuries in a car crash in Poland at the weekend, and Jarek Hampel who had food poisoning and missed the Wolves trip.
It hasn't been the greatest start to the season so far for the Witches and although nobody in the Foxhall management team is commenting, most of the Witches riders can be assured they are riding for their places, to move the season forward.
With the prospect of Grand Prix riders like Hans Andersen and Scott Nicholls returning soon to the British scene, promoters have never had so much choice, if the figures stack up, to make changes.
Tonight's teams
Ipswich: J Hampel, L Lanham, T Kroner, D King, P Swiderski, D Stachyra, C Wilkinson.
Coventry: C Harris, R Wells, R/R, E Kennett, R Schlein, K Jakobson, F Sitera

Pete Simmons wanted three points, but all he got was a couple as the Bees managed to hold the Witches close enough to take a point back to the Citadel of Shame: IPSWICH..481..J Hampel..3,2,2,2,3 = 122..L Lanham..1,1',2,1' = 5+23..T Kroner..2',2',3,3,1 = 11+24..D King..3,3,1,1' = 8+15..P Swiderski..1',1,3,0 = 5+16..D Stachyra..1,0,1,2 = 47..C Wilkinson..0,2,1',0 = 3+1COVENTRY..421..C Harris..2,0,2,3,2 = 92..R Wells..0,0,1,0,0 = 13..O Allen..R/R 4..E Kennett..1,3,3,2,3 = 125..R Schlein..3,3,2,1,0 = 96..K Jakobsen..3,0,0,1' = 4+17..F Sitera..2',0,2',3,0,0 = 7+2Taken from: www.speedwayupdates.proboards103.comBut the big question has to be over the mismanagement of Coventry, especially the failure to have Edward Kennett, Coventry's top scorer, in Ht 15.

Ed Kennett had an awesome ride in heat 14 TBH, think he was probably shattered after that magnificent ride and TBF Rory was going well, but thank goodness Ed wasn't in heat 15.
Still can't get to the bottom of why Piotr is not gating ATM, but at least Tobi has come good ;D

Heat 14 was the bright spot of a rather dull and boring meeting.
It's good to see Tobi back on form, the way he came off the second bend past Schlein was a touch of the Louis/ Loram's.
