We go to Barcelona with the news that turn 9 - the scene of Heikki Kovalainen's big accident in 2008 - has been modified to prevent any more similar incidents.
In an attempt to make Kimi Raikkonen's car competitve, Ferrari have made him a lighter chassis, and will be using a new aerodynamic package, including rear diffusers, on both their cars.
But Brawn GP are one step ahead, and have added upgrades to their already championship-leading cars.
McLaren, however, have been tinkering with their own cars since the start of the season, adding bits and pieces (hopefully of their own design) as they go, rather than introducing a whole new package in one hit. Hamilton isn't optimistic of the team's chances at Barcelona, but we'll wait and see what he can pull out of the bag.
Whatever happens with the upgrades I don't expect much action on the track - this is Spain. Both qualifying and the race should start at 1pm on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

How inept are Ferrari? They have become the "comedy" team of F1. ;D I actually wanted Massa to finish the race today, the poor bloke took the massive disappointment of losing out by the narrowest of margins last year on the chin and it would have been cruel for him to run out of fuel on the final lap. By the Ferrari managment are in complete disarray. Lauda's "spaghetti" comment was spot on. Meanwhile, the mighty Button juggernaut rolls on. Hard luck on Barrichello, hope his first win of the season is forthcoming soon.

Hard luck on Barrichello, hope his first win of the season is forthcoming soon. To be honest, having him on a three-stop strategy seemed a bit fishy to me.

But he was getting the hurry up a lot after his pit-stop, and the three stops should have been the quickest strategy. By all accounts, Ross isn't a happy man with him, as he thinks Barrichello should have won the race - it was just that Button was faster.

Kimi Raikkonen must be just about the highest paid comedian in the world.
