This week's offering on Sky should be a real comedy classic; watch your sides don't split and don't be surprised if you find tears of mirth rolling down your cheeks as the two funniest men in British speedway meet in a battle of wits. Yes, it's Rosco's Robins against Pat's Panthers. All of which guarantees the public numerous shots of Rosco looking rueful or smiling like an insane Cheshire cat, while Pat looks bemused or totally befuddled. And we're also guaranteed an absolutely hilarious team talk after Ht 10, no matter which team is behind (it'll be Peterborough, by the way, so Mrs Butcher, get your team talk prepared, I'm expecting great things and to lose a rib laughing). I'm hoping for at least one controversial moment involving a perceived hardship for Swindon just so we can see Rosco with that "I'm not going to make a fool of myself" grin on his face as he makes a total fool of himself. Rosco and Pat, two of British speedway's great treasures; they should be honoured and preserved. What about the speedway? Should be an easy win for Leigh Adams and the Robins, but, who cares? This one is for laughs. So, let the screaming commence.

I am looking forward to watching Ryan Fisher and Andrew Tully in opposition. A lot of pride will be on show

Think this has all the makings of a good meeting - let's hope it doesn't disappoint.

Well, he certainly didn't say anything bad about his old team, but Mads didn't seem too happy - what happened there?

Well, not impressed so far - pretty poor stuff, if you ask me.

Gloriously supreme ride from Adams in Ht 6, followed by a gloriously weird ride from Zabik in Ht 7 - that boy has promising signs of weirdness.

I think Ales Dryml ought to consider packing it all in - that was fucking pathetic riding from him.

Mon the Fish Dryml did well to avoid the Fish as Ryan locked up on bend 2, but he showed great determination to battle past the hapless Panthers. Rico

Super stuff from the Fish - maybe there is something in Snypers claim of a GP future ? Rico edited to add a smiley in case anyone thought I was serious.

It's somewhat sad that the screaming Pearson and Tatum don't realise Peterborough don't have any tactical option worth thinking about in Ht 14 - Korneliussen has already been used.

I've never been a fan of the Swindon track and after the comments made on BSF etc I was expecting a little better tonight, however it has to be said the match was better than any previous meeting from Swindon on Sky I can recall.
I might even be tempted to pop along the M4 one Thursday night.
Hope Tully is ok after his knock - it looked innocuous, but clearly some damage has been done.
