And paulco's beloved heathen Tigers come away from Owlerton with three Premier Trophy points in the bag, thanks to the Parker-Grieves combination in Hts 13 and 15, together with another inspired showing from Mitchell "bloody" Davey: SHEFFIELD..471..R Ashworth..2',3,3,1,1 = 10+12..P Cooper..3,1,0,2' = 6+13..R Hawkins..2,2,3,3,0 = 104..J Parsons..1',1',1,1' = 4+35..R Hall..1',1,0,0 = 2+16..C Mills..3,3,1,2 = 97..J Auty..2',2,1,1 = 6+1GLASGOW..481..S Parker..1,3,6,3,3 = 162..R Brady..R/R 3..P J Larsen..0,0,0,0 = 04..J Grajczonek..3,4,3,1,0 = 115..J Grieves..3,2,2,2',2' = 11+16..M Davey..0,1,0,2',2',2,3 = 10+27..L Smart..0,0,0,0 = 0Taken from: www.speedwayupdates.proboards103.comRemarkable stuff, from a four-man team. But Sheffield must have huge question marks over their team building now. That's an abject surrender.

For the second successive weak there'll be no speedway in Sheffield tonight. Last week stadium inavailability meant the visit of Edinburgh in the KO Cup was postponed and this week the weather has put paid to the visit of the cruel, crazy Bandits: www.sheffieldspeedway.com/home.php

A rare monster win for the Yorkshire Tigers against a hapless-looking Berwick side: SHEFFIELD..621..R Ashworth..3,3,3,3,3 = 152..R Hawkins..R/R 3..P Cooper..1,2',2,1,3 = 9+14..J Parsons..2',3,3,3,2,1 = 14+15..R Hall..3,2,3,2' = 10+16..J Auty..3,2',1',1,1' = 8+37..C Mills..2',1,0,2',1 = 6+2BERWICK..331..W Lawson..0,0,2,0 = 22..T Aarnio..1,1,3,0,0 = 53..P Clews..0,0,1,2 = 34..J Franc..2,3,0,6,2 = 135..M Makovsky..2,0,4,1 = 76..G Blair..1,0,0 = 17..G Franchetti..0,0,1,1,0 = 2Taken from: www.speedwayupdates.proboards103.comAll of the Tigers among the points, but only Franc and, to a lesser degree, Makovsky and Aarnio showing anything for the borderers. William Lawson is just embarrassing himself now. That looks like a shameful performance.

Edinburgh will likely be without Thomas H Jonasson for their re-arranged KO Cup tie against the Yorkshire Tigers tomorrow night. Jonasson crashed during a league meeting in Sweden yesterday: thjracing.co.uk/default.aspxJonasson will no doubt be well enough for GP practise on Friday and kicking his heels in the Gothenburg pits on Saturday.

You have to admire the boy though, for a rider of such limited ability to receive so much forum coverage, is very impressive.

Jonasson might be one of Sweden's better prospects, but the truth of the matter is that Sweden isn't producing great riders at the minute. And in terms of achievements in the Premier League, Sundstrom at Rye House is leaving him for roadkill. It is only his continued invisibility that makes him comment-worthy (although he is very good at Berwick).

A big win for the Yorkshire Tigers on the night, but not big enough to see them through into the next round as Edinburgh's lead from the first leg was too much to pull back: SHEFFIELD..56 [87]1..R Ashworth..0,2',3,1 = 6+12..R Hawkins..R/R 3..P Cooper..1',2',1,0 = 4+24..J Parsons..1,2,3,3,1,0 = 105..R Hall..2,3,3,3,3 = 146..C Mills..1,1',3,3,1 = 9+17..J Auty..3,1,2',1,3,3 = 13+1EDINBURGH..34 [93]1..R Fisher..3,1,2,2,0,1' = 9+12..A Summers..2',3,0,1,0 = 6+13..T H Jonasson..R/R 4..A Tully..0,0,2,2,2 = 65..M Wethers..3,1,2,1',2,2 = 11+16..M Rajkowski..2,0,0,0,0 = 27..S Stoddart..0,0,0 = 0Taken from: www.speedwayupdates.proboards103.comOnce again Eric Boocock manages not to give star reserve Joshua Auty his maximum number of rides - with such stupidity, you don't deserve to progress.

An encouraging debut for Australian Hugh Skidmore as the Yorkshire Tigers easily dismiss the challenge of a two-man Newcastle team: SHEFFIELD..531..R Ashworth..2,2,1,0 = 52..H Skidmore..0,1',3,3 = 7+13..C Mills..1',1',1',3 = 6+34..R Hall..2,2,2,3,3 = 125..J Auty..1,3,1',0 = 5+16..J Parsons..3,1',2,2' = 8+27..P Cooper..2',3,2',2',1' = 10+4NEWCASTLE..421..L Complin..3,3,6,2',0 = 14+12..T Leverington..M,0,0,0 = 03..D King..3,2,2,1 = 84..D Sneddon..W = 05..K Larsen..2,3,3,6,2 = 166..A McKinna..0,0,0,0,0,0 = 07..C Branney..1,1,0,0,1,0,1 = 4Taken from: www.speedwayupdates.proboards103.comAnother pathetic display from Trent Leverington, who is really starting to embarrass himself.
