Bottles it? aye ok. Did you see the Swindon - Peterborough meeting? Fisher DOES NOT bottle it. ... except in Heat 15 of Edinburgh matches. EDIT: Anyway, I was complimenting the "Future GP star" on his commitment to the Monarchs, even if he is a bit cack in last-heat deciders.

that wasnt his bottle that was a dust bowl one line track. That's funny, because every time I've been to Ashfield it's been superb racing. It was the highlight of my "Scottish tour" last June. Anyway, I'll be up for the two Tigers/Monarchs PT clashes (thanks to my good pal Paulco), so I'll be able to judge how the "Future GP Star" is coming along myself. Hey, I might even see THJ in action this year if I've managed to catch the one weekend of the year where he doesn't put Poland first.

Snyper ignore him. All he is doing is trolling. It's how he gets his kicks. ML - the problem with Snyper and the "Future GP Star" is that it's all too easy - he raises to the bait every time. ;D To be honest, I quite liked Fisher whilst he was at Oxford. He always gave his all, despite the odd brain fade. I warmed to him as the season went on. However, one thing he will never be is a Grand Prix rider. I maintain my stance on THJ, though. ML, I have no doubt he's a nice guy, but he has been taking the piss since the beginning of last year. The Premier League (unlike the Elite League) is a SEVEN-day league. If you commitment to riding in the Premier League, you have to commit to being able to ride on each of those seven days throughout the season. Quite frankly, the Premier League and the Polish League do not mix. If THJ wants to continue in the Premier League, he should give up the Polish League, or bugger off out of the Premier League. Otherwise his absences just hold the sport up to ridicule. It's really the fault of the Edinburgh promotion rather than THJ himself. After the problems of last season, they should have given him the heave-ho and kept Derek Sneddon instead. Anyway, that's my honest thoughts on the matter.

None of the Premier League clubs have either Monday or Tuesday as their primary race day.

None of the Premier League clubs have either Monday or Tuesday as their primary race day. With the closure of Reading and the voluntary demotion of the Isle Of Wight, I guess that's true. Actually it makes life easier for a rider competing in both the Premier League and the Swedish Elite League. But my point stands regarding the clash of fixtures between the Premier League and the Polish Leagues. It should be one or the other - not both. Especially with no agreement in place between the two leagues. Any Premier League promotion that takes on a rider who competes in the Polish League only has themselves to blame.

And, sadly, Jonasson will be invisible again on Friday as the Monarchs take on the Redcar Bears at the Scotwaste Arena: www.edinburghspeedway.com/news/article.asp?id=678This is - frankly - a disgrace. Not the fact that he is missing. I don't care about that. The disgrace is that Edinburgh seem set on using Rider Replacement for a rider "en route to a Swedish Under-21 semi-final at Eskilstuna [on Saturday]", while fielding a rider (Ryan Fisher) who is scheduled to be in Daugavpils the next day for an SWC fixture. Fair enough if both Fisher and Jonasson were missing. But surely it isn't much harder to get to Eskilstuna in Sweden as it is to get to Daugavpils in Latvia.

You would have thought so , but when did the invisible speedway rider pass up a chance to miss a Friday's torture at Armadale . Still i'm sure the Monarchs faithful will be on soon enough to explain why we do him a dis-service .

"en route to a Swedish Under-21 semi-final at Eskilstuna [on Saturday]", So that's why we're missing Gustafsson on Saturday, I assume it is as I can't find anything else that he might be in.

How are Edinburgh allowed to get away with this all the time - have they got friends in high places? It's a complete disgrace. It's pretty easy to get to Sweden in a day - there's no need for him to be missing on Friday night at all.
