Chris Holder did well today, considering that he is still not 100% fit after his crash in the Under 21 Qualifier, when he was ridden over by another rider as he lay on the track!

And Tai Woffinden learning the hard way that things are harsh in the Ekstraliga if you don't do the business in your first race. And young Woffinden is often found wanting in his first ride at new tracks.

And Lindback is replaced by Patryk Pawlaszczyk in Ht 8, after touching the tapes - riding in Poland was the beginning of the end for Lindback's "first" career in the sport and it doesn't look like Poland is being any kinder to him this time around. You are right, Subedei. Certainly his experience at trying to ride the Polish tracks was the start of his downward spiral last year. Strange that he finds it so difficult to get to grips with the Polish tracks, isn't it?

Strange that he finds it so difficult to get to grips with the Polish tracks, isn't it? Lindback has never been especially good under pressure and Poland is all about pressure - it seems to be unrelenting. I don't think Polish management are interested in "arm around the shoulder", which is very much the style of "Middlo". It's all about results.

And it looks like typically crazy scenes in Zielona Gora, as the Falubaz fans prepare for the clash against hated rivals Leszno - think I'll settle for the more sedate Rzeszow-Tarnow meeting, if the stream ever stops buffering.

I am watching both meeting - both awesome atmospheres. Tarnow to me appear to be a team high off beating Wroclaw and have the look of a team - Rzeszow just a team of foreigners who are there for a payday. At ZG, Leszno look impressive after an initial worry - Zengota is impressing on his home track.

Both look like being "nip and tuck" affairs - certainly Tarnow's best away performance so far this season by a country mile. But engine problems costing Rzeszow dearly.

Aye and every time the riders get out of the first bend, the stream stops. How the hell can Nicholls lock up around a bend the size of Rzeszow's I will never know. Quite a party for the travelling Tarnow fans. Heat 5 at ZG was pretty good

Kolodziej having a great season for Tarnow - excellent win from Nicholls in Ht 7. Lots of huff and puff from Nicholls, he got close on occasions, but you always suspected that Kolodziej would keep him at bay.

I have always took to Kolodziej since watching him at Oxford and clean up at reserve on a track which the likes of Hancock were moaning at. JK took the bull by the horns. He's very small though...bit like Jagus (but he's a midget)

Heat 7....The Leszno fans explode....a superb 5-1 which was earned with some excellent hunting down of the early leader.
