She didnae have her stab vest on then . ;D Don't know if you heard it, but that was one of the little jabs Hague had. He said something along the lines of "tailors her attire to the occasion - a hard hat on a building site, Indian clothes for some areas of her constituency and presumably a clown's outfit to cabinet meetings". He's a very clever man is William Hague and very funny.. ;D Of course she was out of her depth, most of them are..

He certainly did Sub, for a minute or two anyway, but somebody clearly wrote a very clever retort for her to use. It's not that I'm not interested in it Sub,I just don't think it should be attributed to someone who doesn't contribute to the forum. Ther youare then Jacques, isn't that nice of them, it's now attributed to the wibbly one. Well, he's generally got plenty to say, so it's rather befitting..

I think we may be a little too coarse for young norbold. That's not the reason at all, sub. The reason I stopped contributing was because you always condemned politicians - especially Tony Blair - for being less than honest and being economic with the actualite, yet when I picked up a member of this forum for the same fault you rode to his rescue. I was dismayed by the double standards you showed and lost my enthusiasm for the forum.

I was dismayed by the double standards you showed and lost my enthusiasm for the forum. I'm dismayed by the double standards - shocking behaviour on my part. I don't immediately recall the incident in question, but I accept your word.

whatever happened to all the posters on here ? it seems the only topic that has any gusto is the rebuking of the "forum superstar" I've debated the wisdom of answering, but I guess it's time to come right out with it instead of complaining to Subedei all the time. Lots of things go on in the background here that I'm aware of but don't necessarily mention. I know that lately there have been a few people who have decided they can't think for themselves, and have taken somebody else's word as gospel, and left. That's up to them. I also know there are quite a few who have a personal problem with Subedei - well, that's their perogative, but I often wonder why they bother coming here. Many times I've asked myself if it's all worth it. You know, why should we bother if no-one else does? We've come very close to pulling the plug on the whole thing a few times, I can tell you. We try to cover as much as we can, but we simply can't do it all on our own - I know that personally I've spent a lot of hours trying to make a section interesting or informative, only for someone to then go and request that information on the BSF. Well, I hope that some of you have had a good look around here, because (and I know I'm biased) but I think this is a bloody good source of information, and I'm pretty certain that we're up with the best for international news. So, moaning over - here's the good points: If you have something to contribute then please do - if you go to a meeting and want to post about it, then we'd love to hear your thoughts. Please don't think that because no-one's replied it means we're not interested. I can only speak for myself when I say that in my case I will start threads and then try to leave it alone in case you're all sick of hearing from me! If you have any ideas or requests, or something you want to find out more about, then please say. Because if we work together we can make this place a whole lot better. I also would like to thank the regular posters, and a few in particular (although I won't name names) who come here and give us their exclusive thoughts/news, who start threads, help out with updates, and generally keep this place going. We're very grateful for all of your support. I think I've said enough, but a forum is only as good as its contributors. And we have some bloody good people here.

Great post Schumi...well said. I love this site - very informative and easy to use. Freedom of speech too! I can see how hard you work getting all the info and posting it on here. Obviously we all use our own teams sites as well but it's nice to come on here and read other teams news and biased and unbiased opinions and have a laugh along the way too. I do use the BSF sometimes, but to be honest I can't be bothered with it alot of the time because it seems so much like hard work. There are way too many threads and drivel on there....it does make me wonder sometimes if some of the posters on there have a life as well....... ;D Please don't think of pulling the plug - keep up the good work - and thanks !

Sent you a PM. And please, don't praise me - that's not what my post was about. Plenty of other people do as much as me here, and I won't take credit for it.

I've mentioned it before but like others I use this as my only site for staying up to date as I don't spend enough time online to go on the BSF, and I attend less than 1 meeting a season on average. I think there is some good discussion on here, and some knowledgeable speedway people.

Paulco - I actually like the fact that this forum is quite quiet with a relatively low number of posters - there's no need to wade through pages of dross to read something interesting as is the case on the BSF.
