Doesn't really matter....Australia get some practice on Thursday to prepare themselves against the Poles on Saturday. The race-off will be a real battle for 2nd given Denmark's injuries (esp. if Andersen is unfit), Sweden's weaknesses and GB's inexperienced riders. Wouldn't count on seeing the same track conditions on Thursday as Saturday now that the Poles are straight through. A fantastic night's entertainment...I really enjoyed that.

Except for heat 25 where Gollob was an absolute piss-taking disgrace who should be banned from the final for his total disregard for the paying public.

His bike exploded ffs A ban for a 2 minute exclusion - fuck me, I'm glad you aint in charge or you'd have riders hung drawn and quartered for knocking someone off. Rico

Rico Don't be so naive Rico, the match was won and he didn't fancy being beaten by Crump, he showed total disregard to the public who pay his wages. Flapperjack of the week in my opinion, if that had been Nicholls or Pedersen they would have been getting slaughtered by now.

Oh Hatcham, please notice the smiley.
Gollob was Gollob. A genius at work, whose work was done.

Well, that was worth watching.
Some brilliant racing served up from the Showground tonight. The young Brits may have been outclassed overall but they showed fight and spirit and certainly didn't disgrace themselves unlike some previous British squads.
I was a bit sceptical when Lyon first announced his team for tonight, but fair play these kids aren't going to get the experience otherwise and despite a slow start didn't let their heads drop tonight. Swap Rico for Kennet and leave the rest for Thursday, I doubt Danny King will be as good in Leszno but he did more than enough to earn himself another cap tonight.
We've had 2 throroughly entertaining qualification rounds for the SWC this year but I got a hunch the final itself will be a bit of a let down with the Poles pissing it.

Wow.....just got back ! What a night - absolutely fantastic ! Amazing atmosphere, fantastic crowd, well organised, great racing ! Just didn't want the night to end .... I just love the Poles - they are so hilarious - they really know how to enjoy themselves. ;D I thought the same at Cardiff the last 2 years. Wish I could go to Lezno.... : Maybe know they know how fantastic it is at Peterborough they will hold this there every year...? Or even the final ! Coventry was so pants last year !

Some sensational racing going on. For some reason, the SWC always seems to bring out the best action of the year. And also the fact that it is at Peterborough....well, you just can't go wrong !

Bloody hell. Danny King wins the race, passing Sullivan and beating Miedzinski. Amazing. Not really - he knows our track very well !

Fucking brilliant meeting. Well worth the £20 for a place in the grandstand.
Amazing racing - don't know where to start. OK, with the Crump / Zagar battle - wow!!
And well done GB - really determined performance. Danny King was the star, but all the boys (well maybe not Eddie) came out of it with great credit.
