So where have i changed my tune Genghis ? your the one who continues to talk bollocks, and constantly contradicts his own posts. Never ever ever have i over-rated the performances and abilities of Nicholls, i just fail to see why someones misfortune should cause such pleasure to other people, however its become increasingly clear that you just want to be like Subedei, the problem is Sub has his own unique style, is very good at it and has the courage of his convictions, you dont. I see latest in your firing line is Ipswich and their track, but its all bluff and bluster with you as if you were to bump into Badge you would shit your pants. Hatcham, it was you who backed out of us meeting at Lakeside earlier in the year, not me. I'll happily meet up with anyone on this forum. Backed out ? backed out ! when the fuck did i ever say i was going to the west ham meeting you attended ?

Why do you keep beating the same drum ? are you needing to feel loved and using Nicholls incompetence as a cheap target to get members to concur with one of your posts ? Nicholls is not of GP standard, and all of us on here know it, we all also know his absence from the elite has made his performances even worse. Lindback and Hampel are genuine world class riders, thats why they are above him. Nicholls is almost certainly in his last ever GP season, and is no longer worthy of one of a place in Team Englands world cup side, so why dont you leave the poor lad alone, i'm sure his life is miserable enough at the moment without people like you sticking the boot in. If you feel the need vent your anger, why dont you visit the local hospital and laugh at some ill people, or go out and torture some animals. Hatcham - where have I stuck the boot in? Everytime you try to emulate your hero Subedei.

I have to say this was the best GP in ages. Really, really entertaining and gating was virtually of no importance as leads were clawed back and interchanged all the time! Now that was speedway. No, it wasn't speedway for the purest at all, there was only overtaking because riders were getting into trouble. Artificial excitement that people see straight through - the world's best riders shouldn't be made to look like amateurs. PROPER racing is what we saw recently at the mighty Scunthorpe. Last night was a total sham. No that was speedway. Because it contained speed you see, and speed and power is a tricky thing to control. We saw who can really ride these bikes at full jolt last night. The complete shit served up at your 80cc tracks are a different sport. But each to his own.

Erik, well I would never travel to Gothenburg to watch a GP round on that track - it's an abomination. As you say, each to their own. But, on the other hand, I am travelling to Malilla for the second successive season this year. I'm seeing racing not only at Malilla, but at three other PROPER Swedish tracks. Including a Getingarna home meeting as it happens. Will you be there, as it would be great to meet you.

Sentencing the riders...
Nicki Pedersen: Dame Fortune is a fickle mistress and she looks to have deserted Nicki P this season. Jason Crump: Not a wholly convincing display, but he did finish second and he ought to take that as a massive positive. Tomasz Gollob: Showed glimpses of genius amid a generally poor display. Greg Hancock: Not much to "grin" about, to be honest. Hans Andersen: Still not convincing me that he'll ever be a true contender. Leigh Adams: Like the global superstar last time around, a sentence isn't required, just a word: abject. Andreas Jonsson: Another solid showing, but he never looked a likely winner and that's his problem these days - close, but no cigar. Rune Holta: A better display from the non-blood Pole, who should look to build upon it and secure a place for next season. Scott Nicholls: Started badly, went rapidly downhill and almost ended in total humiliation. Fredrik Lindgren: The Sausagemeister wasn't very convincing on a track he did well on last season - tougher tasks lie ahead and I'm not sure he's up to it. Chris Harris: Started well, faded badly and never looked like making the semis, but such is the poverty of his ambition that he'll probably see five points as a good result. Kenneth Bjerre: A steady performance from the guy, but he was caught out by the track at a crucial time and it seemed to knock the stuffing out of him. Grzegorz Walasek: Glimpses of weirdness from Walasek, but he needs to start troubling the semis. Sebastian Ulamek: Started well, faded badly and looked a little lost on occasions. Emil Sajfutdinov: A little lucky, but the fellow is a fantastic phenomenon - brilliant. Antonio Lindback: A superb showing, but Ermolenko called it right; Lindback never looked "strong enough" to take the win, but with TR in the camp that strength could come along.

I would think so, I'm trying to make all the meetings at Gubbängen this year, both Getingarna and Hammarby. Give me a heads up on here and we can exchange numbers

By the way, did you get the footage of Nicholls in the pits, squatting with his head in his hands - almost looked as if he was crying. And that performance was certainly worth crying about. But I do feel a little sorry for him.

We did, and it was awful to watch. As I said on the other thread, I think it's time for him to give up the GPs and concentrate on the British league, where he's still very competitive. Being in the GPs is breaking him, and, much as I admit he's not my favourite rider, I don't like seeing anyone that down.
