I have to say I thought this was a far better production than past years, and Nicki Pedersen talking us through his season was interesting, although I wish Chris Louis had asked him a few 'difficult questions'. As always, the sudden image changes make you wonder which meeting you're watching at times, and they may have shown some of the best races, but they certainly don't go hand in hand with the best commentaries do they? Overall though, a fairly entertaining two hours.

I cancel my sky sports subscription just after the last live tv meeting has been broadcast and subscribe to the sports package again in March.
Not sure I'll even bother to subscribe again this year just for the early EL meetings, may just wait until the GP's kick off if I bother at all.
Becoming increasingly bored with the whole Sky package and the shite they constantly broadcast for an extortionate amount of money each month.

And the first fixtures for television are released and, no surprise, no surprise, it's Poole versus Swindon first up, with the revolutionary forces from the side of the lake visiting Manchester a week later: www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12972,00.html Let the screaming commence.

The 08 season review wasn't that interesting. I only caught a part of it, which was the Reading Season Review, wasn't too interested in watching the EL highlights.
Shame they start with Poole though, means I'll have the misfortune of watching one of my least favourite riders.. though I concede that Holder is usually entertaining to watch.
