Mr Wibblemuis seems to be going through a rebellious phase judging from some of his recent posts I've seen, and may have changed his mind. I've never liked authoritarian repressive regimes, and have said so on many occasions, hence my asylum here from the BSF. Back to the subject though - what would I have against recycling pop bottles? It was imminently more sensible than some of the idiotic recycling schemes we have now, the output of which frequently ends-up in landfill in China (how green is shipping rubbish around the world? ) Hmmm... I hated Rentaghost as much as I hated Playaway. Far too much excessive thesbianism for my liking.

Funny you should mention old tv shows, Mrs J and I were reminiscing about the Wombles yesterday. Admittedly this was prompted by my comparing my wife to Orinoco's desire for another '40 winks' - a discussion which then lead us on to working out which Womble was most like each of the cats - but the Wombles was top quality viewing! Fascinating fact about the Wombles and their musical exploits: Most bikers or lovers of rock music will be aware of a 1975 top 20 record called 'Motor Biking' by Chris Spedding, a leather wearing greaser of the type your Mother wouldn't like; imagine how his cred would've been blown if folk knew his previous guitar weilding appearance on TOTP was in a big Womble suit! Not many people know that...............

You never see kids at the speedway with rosettes with the riders faces in them anymore . I had two when i was a wean - Jim McMillan and Charlie Monk . And please one day give us back the Scotland v England football matches as a yearly thing - god i used to love them .

Oh yes, I remember Button Moon and Thundercats. And also Gummy Bears, Knightmare and Dungeons and Dragons. One I remember but no-one else ever does is T-Shirt - he had an adventure every week and had to find a letter by the end. Probably was a load of rubbish but you know how the mind keeps things great. ;D Oh and Wizbit.
