No, just looked up the last 25 posts. Is it a Tiger - it is quite weird looking. No idea. ;D Crikey, you should add me to MSN. We can wax lyrical about Schumacher, Pedersen, Balinski and Ebdon. I have plenty to say about him. That's okay - last time I bothered to turn up at Oxford was in the Waggy days.

Nico Rosberg ends speculations and signs a two year deal with Williams, whilst the front runner for the spare seat at McLaren seems to be De La Rosa.

Looks like Alonso is about to sign a £70m deal with Renault. www.planet-f1.comMind you, the BBC say it's $70m. Whatever, Renault are welcome to him.

Just been confirmed Renault have announced Alonso and Nelson Piquet Jr. Kovalainen to McLaren and Fisichella to Toyota? Interesting that Briatore was saying only recently that he didn't want to do a short term deal with Alonso, but now it seems he's only signed for one year. Kovalainen to McLaren could be a good shout, I think he would push Hamilton more than De la Rosa, but Fisi seems to be concentrating on Force India at the moment.

This is a section from the report the BBC gives: Alonso is believed to have negotiated number one status with Renault. Finn Heikki Kovalainen, who had an impressive rookie season with Renault in 2007, is expected to move to either McLaren, where he would partner Lewis Hamilton, or Toyota. Kovalainen, who is managed by team boss Flavio Briatore, was considered by the team to be good enough to challenge Alonso, and therefore keeping him was not in the interests of a harmonious team. news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/7136498.stmI find it quite sad that Renault have chosen to get rid of a good driver like Kovalainen, just in case he does too well next season and upsets Alonso. I'm now hoping Nelson Piquet Jr has a first season like Hamilton', that really would piss Alonso off.

Alonso has already proved himself to be a prima donna, so it's no surprise that Kovalainen has been dropped, Piquet isn't seen as that big a threat. Rest assured though that Briatore has done the best for his man that he can, Heikki to McLaren will be pretty much a done deal, and that's a good thing for Hamilton.

You and me both, mimi, but hoping very much that McLaren will give him that golden opportunity instead of De La Rosa, who should have been sacked after Stepneygate. Actually don't think Renault will be troubling the top two, and even BMW have the edge on them now. Might just bring Alonso down a peg or two to be trailing around mid-field.

Might just bring Alonso down a peg or two to be trailing around mid-field. I'm looking forward to seeing that. What would be even better would be if Piquet junior outperformed him. Schumi - it's still panning out for Button to end up at McLaren.

I think there must have been some mistake though - Button's not in that McLaren. Schumi - Ron Dennis has lost the plot, clearly Button should have been offered the second place at McLaren. ;D P.S. Looks weird with Hamilton as No. 22. What's the highest numbered car to be World Champion - I seem to recall Senna was No. 27 in 1990, has anyone been any higher?

Interesting comments from Lewis Hamilton on the unveiling of this years McClaren, about how it has been good to see it come to fruition over the last 18 months, from Ferrari,s drawing board ;D,to construction and testing in the wind tunnel, and finally to ontrack.
