Genghis, I sometimes wonder which planet you live on. Are you saying Kimi did that on purpose? Because by saying you're glad he didn't get any points it sounds like it to me. As for the race, the first half was interesting, the second wasn't, but I'm always left a bit disappointed when a race doesn't go the full distance. Incidentally I think I've only seen that happen once before - possibly at Monaco again? Schumi, No, I'm not saying he did it on purpose - of course he didn't, it cost him the lead of the World Championship. But it was extremely careless and took Sutil out of the race, when Sutil was driving the race of his life. So I was glad he didn't get a point out of the race - he didn't deserve it. Force India have put in a protest. They want Kimi suspended for the next race, pointing out that's what would happen if one of their drivers accidentally took out a Ferrari. Good on them. EDIT: I never thought I'd see the day. Genghis criticising King Kimi and Schumi defending him.

I certainly hope not, because the accident wasn't even his fault. Tony Steele made the correct decision.

Let's just say that Kimi had to trust to luck as to where his car ended up - it was out of his control.

A bit of luck for Lewis earned him the win after his team were forced to adopt the different strategy. Good win for him though in a very eventful race. Gutted for Suttil who deserved better than a Ferrari shunting into the back of him and forcing him out of the last couple of laps (how many times have we heard that where Ferrari are concerned )

Are you saying Kimi did that on purpose? Probably not, but coming off a lap behind the safety car onto a damp circuit, the onus is on the driver to exercise caution. He simply overcooked it in his eagerness to get going, but unfortunately ruined the race of another driver.

Force India seeking to get Raikkonen suspended for the next Grand Prix. It's more likely Sutil and Force India will get fined and suspended for getting in the way of a Ferrari.

Although i agree that something should be done about the way Raikonnen went into the back of him, i doubt the governing body will do anything.....probably citing 'wet track conditions' as the reason they bottle out of doing anything. If it was the other way round, Force India would be penalised. They should have shown a shot of Schumacher after Raikonnen's move, something he would do and get away with.

From Planet F1:
RAIKKONEN ESCAPES PENALTY
Kimi Raikkonen won't be penalised for his crash with Adrian Sutil despite Force India calling for the World Champ to be banned.
Raikkonen put Sutil out of a promising fourth place when the Ferrari driver lost control under braking and hit the back of the Force India car.
It was a disappointing end to the grand prix for the backmarker team who immediately called for the the Monaco GP race stewards to ban Raikkonen.
"Raikkonen always looked like doing stupid and in the end he did," tech director Mike Gascoyne said.
"If that was the other way around, and it was a little Force India driver hitting the World Champion, then he would be facing a one- or two-race ban. We've asked the stewards to take a look and act accordingly."
However, after reviewing the accident the stewards deemed that no action was necessary.
"The Stewards after hearing the explanation of both the Competitors representatives and the drivers decided that the incident requires no further action," they said in a statement.
What a load of bollocks. Raikkonen escapes without penalty for an extremely careless piece of driving, which broke the hearts of the poor Force India team.
Could be interesting when Raikkonen comes up to lap Sutil in future races. Will Sutil let him past, and will the stewards then decide to take any action?
It again shows how biased F1 is towards the Ferrari team and its drivers. Remember how quickly the authorities were to put the McLaren boys 5 places back on the grid earlier in the season. How can Raikkonen escape without penalty?
