I think you will find that financially and in terms of gaining more experiance dropping the DU role would be the best choice. Another season at Edinburgh and he will have EL clubs lining up for his signiture. He doesnt need the DU role for anything other than track experiance. The sooner he is away from the Dale the better thats all i can say. Ach you probably wont see him at the Dale very often anyway .

It will be interesting to see how things go with Jonasson this season. I rate the guy, but I wouldn't say that I rate him any higher than Boxall, with whom he'll be sharing "doubling up" duties at Belle Vue. Now, some people will shoot me down for that, no doubt. I just don't think being "Sweden's best prospect" is necessarily such a big deal these days.

ML im behind the team 100% dont worry about that. Im just behind those that race every meeting more than those who go on exscursions across Europe willy nilly. I agree with you Paul. Lemon better make sure he has plenty diesel in his van i can see him getting a few calls again in 09

Remember guests are only for your No 1 rider. You just get R/R for other riders; unless more than one are out and then the guest is for the lower ranked rider.

it will really depend on what tracks he rides in the handful of times he will show his face if he rides some of the faster tracks he may raise his avg to the point of being number 1 before we need to fill in for him. Personally i cant see anyone shifting fish from #1 all season

Well, he'll have to ride three home and three away to get an interim average. That seemed to take until about June, maybe even July, last season.

As i say i cant see him getting higher than fish anyway Edinburgh will hope you're wrong . Fisher is as good as he's going to get , decent enough PL heat-leader , but that's it . Jonasson , on the other hand , has infinitely more potential . Doesn't matter if he only rides in a dozen or so meetings for the Monarchs - he's a saleable asset who could easily rake in the same sort of transfer fee that the Poo Boy commanded .

Unless he decides he feels like Coventry, whereupon the Bees will decide to offer peanuts and then take it to arbitration.

I can see Fisher being one of the top guys in the PL next season, but I fancy that'll be the summit of his achievements - talk of Fisher being GP standard are just pie in the sky. Hell, he isn't even as good as Billy "the Joke" Janniro.
