"Grand Prix star, you're having a laugh" is the chant from those in blue and gold.

Well done to the Monarchs last night for their brilliant performance. The meeting had everything, very pleased I went. Great to see many of my friends from Edinburgh. ;D

A great night, great company, some really good speedway and my team being a credit to the PL What more could you ask for.

I liked the Wolves stadium and track and the Wolves fans made us so welcome even if we did take over a bit. Porky the centre green presenter was fantastic and really worked well with the Monarchs fans in particular

Nice gesture by CVS to send the Edinburgh lads around on the track for a very well deserved applause from both sets of fans

Great to meet up with the usual suspects (you know who you are ) and thank you to the Birmingham (Monarchs for the night) fans who joined us, ooops and not forgetting a certain tiger and friends too

Tony will be burned as a Witch on Halloween on the 1st bend at Armadale ;D . Actually he's bought a house about 2 miles from the Scotwaste Arena , and since he done that he has done some really strange things . His father is a close friend of mine and shares my own love of the Monarchs so i'll have to get him to have a wee word with his son .

Brundle made the gate and Freddie messed up coming off turn two.

Brundle was going hell for leather and it looked like he wasn't going to be caught until Freddie dived underneath going into turn three, lap 3, but this sent him too wide and Brundle came back underneath.


Fair race, but Freddie didn't look to have the pace all night
