Lakeside substantially weaker, not that it makes much difference.

Do you think? I'd say it makes them slightly stronger...depending whether we get the Scott 'I'm committing all resources for the GPs' Nicholls or the old blood and thunder version. I like AJ, always have, and it's a shame he won't be present tomorrow tomorrow - in fact he's been missing on all but one occasion down here this year. But how I wish I'd got money on him not riding tomorrow last Monday night - I know his illness was unavoidable (blame Watty I reckon, great move to infect the opposition - I like his style) but even without that, you got the impression that AJ was hacked off with things and it wouldn't have surprised us if he'd not appeared. Crazy perhaps, but sometimes these things do cross your mind in unguarded moments.

Of course AJ was hacked off last Monday Squirlski, he's a winner and didn't like the way things went........that's quite natural, surely? With only three of our starting line-up representing us on Monday, I've no doubt you'll go through the formalities and win, and sincere congratulations to you for doing that. I just wish for once that Lakeside would get our fair share of luck, and that is in no way intended to take anything away from The Pirates. I live in the hope that next season will be the one!! And I really can't understand why Cookie hasn't booked Leigh instead of Scott.

This looks like it's going to be very embarrassing.

Sod this. I'm turning this crap off. I've rented the 1981 World Final from lovefilm. I'm going to watch that instead.

Highlight so far is trying to convince my 4 year old son that Adam Skornicki isn't actually "Crumpie".
"It iiiiiiiiis."
"No, It's not Crumpie."
"But it is Daddy."
