Just thought I'd do a short guide for new members (and old ones who haven't had the chance to look around properly) to see what we're all about here at Weird. The season is drawing to an end, so things will be updated over the winter, but for now, here's a basic guide. We cover all the live Sky meetings and hope you'll join us with comments. Sundays are usually when we get all the action from Poland. Join Subedei live as it happens, as times of the meetings and live feeds where you can watch on the internet are all posted here. Tuesdays we have the Swedish Elitserien at 6pm British time, and line-ups for each meeting are usually posted on the previous Sunday. We touch on the Allsvenskan, and all the latest news and issues. GPs and SWC meetings are also covered as they happen - feel free to join us chatting about the meetings as they progress. The International section covers the German, Danish and Russian leagues, as well as national titles, and other individual meetings from around the world. Star Lady's not so rough guide gives a wealth of information about tracks, records, how to get there, and various other bits and pieces, and is especially helpful for the disabled. You'll find just about every speedway link, including riders, teams, fans forums and local newspapers, stats and facts on all the main competitions, photos, useful information, including the rule book and foreign scorecard abbreviations, and don't forget to have a look at our interviews too. Other than that, pretty much anything can be discussed here, so have a look around, join in the chat, and have fun!

What's going on?
Everytime I navigate away from this site and then come back I have to log in again, despite being 'logged in forever'.

It is, but has something happened on FB? I tend to live in my own little world these days and seldom venture out of it long enough to discover what else is going on. It's quite pleasant here.

Just a case of " Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive" And all that Schumster...

There are plans to revive The Weird World of Speedway after a far too long period of it being dormant. Watch out for more details over the next week or so. I am in discussion with other moderators on the forum. When I say 'Welcome Back' to you, it is a sincere greeting. I hope that it proves true and that you will participate once more in the effort to rekindle interest in a forum that, at one time, was excellent. Please send a new message to the WWoS ore email me directly if you need any informatio at speedstox12@yahoo.com speedyguy aka John Hyam, a moderator, The Weird World of Speedway.

Just to refresh what this forum is dedicated to. Just straight forward debate and comment on speedway at large - and not to be used as is the BSF in places to discredit valid opinions by other members. By all means if needed criticise the actual Post but don't personally attack the original Poster as such - just their comment. Thank you everyone.
