Ref is appalling.
Seb Alden had nowhere to go.
Allen pulled a massive locker

WTF?! Why's Terry Russell getting involved? What role exactly is he taking tonight?! Promoter of Swindon would be my guess.

I'd always understood that it was any part of bike or rider? That's what I thought, which is why I remember it. I queried it at the time, but the rider was allowed to take his place in the re-run. Either way, one of them is wrong, and this ref is terribly inconsistent. Okay, so he was right: (f) for a Competitor or Competitor’s machinery or any part of it to touch or break the tapes after the Green Starting Light has been displayed. But like I say, other riders have got away with it this year - twice, I think.

Ref is appalling. Seb Alden had nowhere to go. Allen pulled a massive locker But on the flipside, Alden also picked up a heap of drive and shot forwards at a great rate......6 of one, half dozen of the other, someone had to go?

The worst for me tonight, was bloody Tatum and his opinions . Why was Bomber to blame for the Batchelor exclusion, although he said time after time that Bomber moved into Batchelor, he didn't, although all 4 back probably should have been the decision that surely is the right of the ref though, and where exactly should Bomber have gone in the 2nd incident??? And why only speaking to Rosco all evening, was Peter Oakes late or something, or were they priming him for one of his explosions . The meeting was boring BTW

That's the last time I listen to Silver Bee then. He said: And that in itself is a stupid rule. It shouldn't matter if it's the bike or the helmet. When a rider jumps the start and his helmet breaks the tapes as in the case tonight, then he should be excluded. As for Harris being allowed back in the rerun when he fell on his own....appalling decision. Leigh Adams was correct when he said Swindon were up against eight men.
