Hope you Ipswich fans aren't relying too heavily on Hampel being around this week.

Why do you say that Schumi?

Why do you say that Schumi? Before his play-off meeting yesterday in Poland he said he was doubtful to ride as he had "inflammation of the upper respiratory tract." Although he did ride in the end. Today it's been announced he's not riding for Vetlanda tomorrow as he has "flu". Call me cynical, but if he's not riding for his Swedish team in the play-offs, I'd be dubious about him turning up here. Not saying he's faking his illness, of course.

Ok, thanks, I hadn't heard about that! No doubt he's saving himself to lead the Witches to a fantastic win at Poole on Wednesday. ;D Lets hope Swidders is fit or we might just be on the lookout for a guest for Jarek and our old friend Mr R/R as well.

And the Lakeside Hammers win at Ipswich again (44:48). And they didn't even have to trouble Andreas Jonsson with Ht 15 in the process of winning - the 5-1 Ipswich scored in that Ht 15 gave the score a degree of respectability Ipswich hardly deserved. The star of the show has to have been Lakeside's No 8 Kauko Nieminen who scored a superb 16+1 from 7 rides as a replacement for Lubos Tomicek and then also as a replacement for fellow reserve Ricky Kling who withdrew from the meeting following a tumble in Ht 2.

And that win secures a place in the top two for the Hammers. Three meetings to go.

Fortunately there's no lasting damage to Ricky. He should be fine to ride in the next meetings.

Could one of the Ipswich faithful please tell me which gate positions were used in Heat 15 please? Good luck in finding an Ipswich supporter that was still watching / present in the stadium at that point
