Crump disappoints again. Good ride from the global superstar to make the final.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
Brilliant to watch!
Pedersen team-rides Hancock around keeping Gollob out and in the process securing his status as World Champion.

I don't know what possessed Gollob to take gate 1 in the final, knowing Nicki P would clamp him if he made the gate. And he did.

Good ride from the global superstar to make the final. No, poor rides from Adams and Andersen let Nicholls in. Adams is woefully underperforming this year.

Pedersen didn't like Gollob's move last year or the one in the heats this evening, he was being a nasty bastard in that final. I liked it. For all the piss Gollob was taking during the other 22 heats, Pedersen played him like a puppet in the final.
Nice rivarly developing there.

Agreed re Pedersen/Gollob. Nicki was definitely fired up for revenge after previous year and Gollob's earlier piss-take of him. In their qualification race Tomek clearly had so much speed but seemed to want to move Nicki into a position where he could push him very wide, with a view to getting the others by him. While he did achieve this move the other 2 involved in the race weren't in a position to take advantage of it.
Tomek didn't seem too enamoured with Nicki's tactics in the final and I'm sure there's more to come on this one.
Overall it wasn't the worst Bydgoszcz GP there has been, but it wasn't quite up there with the best. Good races were great but there were too many FTGs. It was still infinitely better than the tosh at Zielona Gora the following day though.
Cracking trip again meeting up with old friends and new (among those it was nice to meet Erik on Friday night).
51 weeks to go ..........
