It's all gone a rather funny shape for BSI in recent weeks, what with one thing and another. One of those things, of course, is Unia Tarnow's decision to forbid Janusz Kolodziej from riding for the Bulldogs. Everyone - well, almost everyone - in the UK cries foul. How can the Poles act in such a high and mighty attitude? It matters to such deluded individuals not at all that it was Unia Tarnow who identified Kolodziej's talent, nurtured it and supported him through his early years. BSI and Britain did bugger all - they do precious little to nurture British talent, but that's another story for another time. As far as I'm aware, the BSPA has no agreements with the Polish authorities - the Poles go their own way; do what they like, when they like and whatever anyone else does is irrelevent. Unia Tarnow have seen Kolodziej's results in the UK and compared them to his results in Poland and obviously drawn the conclusion that they're getting the short end of the stick. They've taken action. You've got to admire that. Unlike the British, they just don't seem to accept second, or third, best. So, I say hurrah, hurrah, hurrah for Unia Tarnow. It's good to see that, at last, someone is willing to salute BSI with two fingers.
