READING promoter Malcolm Holloway is currently recovering in hospital after suffering a heart attack on Thursday evening.

Malcolm is due to undergo further tests tomorrow, but despite everything he’s had to endure the past few days, he is reported to be in good spirits.

Doctors have advised the Racers boss to take things easy for the next few weeks, so he is unlikely to be at Smallmead for any of the forthcoming meetings.

Everyone connected with Reading Speedway would like to take this opportunity to wish the Mad Wellie a full and speedy recovery.

Get well soon Wellie!! Hope he's back at Smallmead sooner rather than later.

Wellie expected to be released from hospital today, he will have to go back at some time in the future for open heart surgery though

Good news. Reading website reports Wellie is now back at home & under orders for complete rest.

Wellie goes into hospital on Sunday 10th August for his triple heart bypass surgery.

Best those Racers boys get their arses in gear and turn Somerset over by means of a get well present for him.
