No, I wasn't - it was at Belle Vue, so good racing was unlikely. I was otherwise occupied. Sub - the racing was OK. Gjedde's ride in Heat 15 was exceptional. Ok? Ok? Apart from Gjeede's pass I think there was one pass all night and every race was sooo spread it. I except that 'John Hannibal Thomas' off the BSF was having an orgasim when he seen there was muck on the track and Dickie Juul was helping Jonas Raun in the pits.

Just one little point Sub....it was Sky's second visit to BV this season. We beat Poole in the first televised match from BV.
Crap, Crap and Crap. Shite track. I don't know how to prepare a speedway track but logic tells me not to put loads of dirt on the first and second bend and then none on the third and fourth bend. Track was being watered from 6.45pm until a couple of minutes before the parade, I don't think that helped one iota.
Racing isn't the word I'd use bar two examples. Jason Lyons passing Hampel and Gjedde's heat 15 ride. Apart from that it was possibly the worst meeting of the season....and there is no way on earth Crump clocked 55.9 in heat 1. He shut off halfway down the back straight on the last lap and had almost slowed right down when he crossed the line. If they give that as the official time I'll show my arse in Woolies window.
