Paulco - didn't the IOW match take place before the Tigers were ravaged by injury? I don't expect the IOW to get 44 points, 35-40 points would be OK. As long as it's not a scoreline of 68-22. Anyway, Berwick vs Glasgow should be a good match, although Peter Waite will probably have made another 5 team changes by then. It'll be good to met up with Subedei and Goldmember, especially as the latter appreciates the speedway genius of Hans Nielsen. No we were ravaged by injury against the IOW too . That was the day Ross Brady went nuts and scored paid 17 . IOW are woefully weak at reserve , and Phillips aint much cop away from the Island . I would expect the Monarchs to hit 60 in that match . Paul Fry is also like a novice round Armadale's tricky track . Berwick have strengthened up considerably in the last week and could easily hit 60 against us ( assuming our promotion are still dragging their heels about strengthening up ) we have to make at least 3 changes and soon . Your best chance of a speedway classic is undoubtably at the Messiahlessdome on the Sunday where we entertain the top-heavy Comics . Although young Joe Haines is improving hand over fist and a big score from him and we're in trouble . But you'll enjoy the banter of a weekend's speedway in Scotland . Paulco - I reckon you'll go OK at Berwick - will Ross still be at reserve? I think Haines will be in the team proper for the Comets (they have rode enough meetings to get June GSAs), so they won't have their trump card at reserve. That should be a close one, but it depends on Glasgow's guests/replacements. But looking to the trip anyway. Need to get a train ticket sorted out (I think I'll still be car-less at that point).

Hmmmm.... hoping that the Isle Of Wight do a bit better in a couple of weeks time, I want to see a competitive match not a one-sided drubbing. Given their team i wouldnt bet on it.

Given their team i wouldnt bet on it. Given that Armadale is about as far removed from Smallbrook as it's possible to get, I'd expect the Monarchs to hand out a drubbing. Phillips might do okay, but Bunyan and Stojanowski will probably struggle.

Have you ever braved the cruel, crazy town before, young fellow? Several times. With Oxford twice in 1997 (including a rain off after 8 heats), and coming back after Edinburgh v Oxford CL matches in 2003 and 2004. Looks like the train fare remains static from 14 days (which passed yesterday) to 7 days. Will therefore sort it out when I'm in Oxford on Tuesday - I don't like ordering on the internet unless it's avoidable. I believe I'm coming down to Berwick on the Glasgow supporters' bus.

Paulco - I don't mind, you know the pubs in Berwick better than I do. I remember there being a good chippie fairly near the stadium.
