As it was a pleasant afternoon, Denise and myself decided to make the effort and get ourselves to this one. Nice to meet Rick Ashworth and his dad again for a bit of a chat.

. A really decent track, well prepared and it looked grippy but still did not yield good racing by any stretch of the imagination. The home riders rode it very well of course, but it seemed the quality of the track was better than the quality of the racing on display.
The best of the opposition seemed to be the guest; Topinka. No doubt the 'Messiah' was well and truly missed. Another team speedway meeting with a final score of 63-29 (if I filled the program in correctly of course..
) which only reinforced my opinion that individual meetings are generally a better product.
