The second part of the mini southern tour for the Bears.
Teams:
Islanders
1. Krystof Stojanowski 2. Cory Gathercole 3. Glen Phillips 4. Paul Fry R/R 5. Jason Bunyan 6. Andrew Bargh 7. James Holder
Bears
1. Gary Havelock 2. Joni Keskinen 3. James Grieves 4. Dan Giffard 5. Ty Proctor 6. Josh Auty 7. Arlo Bugeja
Both teams have a strong top 3 who could all beat each other round Smallbrook. The Bears once again have the problem of Budgie, Dan and Keskinen not scoring well so it will hinder us alot. I think this meeting will depend on which teams top 3 comes out on top as with Josh at reserve he could maybe cancel out James Holder.
The Islanders do have a big home advantage so the Bears will be heavily relying on the top 3 doing well and Josh scoring big.
Prediction: 54-36. Interesting line-ups but as i said before, the Bears could be carrying 3 riders.

I think Isle of Wight will win this at a canter - Havelock will be fucked after a couple of laps of their massive track, for a start.

After last year, it will be an improvement if he turns up!

After last year, it will be an improvement if he turns up! I'd forgotten all about that - stuck on the motorway, wasn't he? Still, the good news was his father was with him, which meant you had a better manager at the meeting (unless, of course, you drafted in Trevor Swales to replace him).

53-40, we made the score a bit more respectable in the last few heats.
Havvy with a brilliant 18 point maximum, held the team together for 2 nights running.

That's a good score from Redcar, but obviously almost half of it came from Havelock. I think Grieves chipped in with some good points, so the rest didn't really do that much. Seemed a weird decision to go with Procter as the Tactical Substitute when you had Grieves in the line-up.

Grieves wasn't doing much either to be honest.
