More dropped points at the Norfolk Arena tonight as the Stars could only manage a draw against the Edinburgh Monarchs (45:45). But it looked like it could be much worse, with the Monarchs leading 40-44 going into Ht 15, where Messrs Doolan and Topinka secured a crucial 5-1. For King's Lynn it looks like Rustyitis has taken hold, with Harrison just good for 3 points from 4 rides. A solid showing from the Monarchs, but I guess the outstanding performance was young Thomas J Jonasson scoring 9 from 5 rides, including a win over Kevin Doolan in Ht 12.

I was quite stunned watching the updates coming in. When the Monarchs fell eight points down I feared the sort of collapse than normally follows that scenario at King's Lynn.
But with Thomas Jonasson kicking into gear again and the rest all contributing so well, a win began to look a distinct possibility. I'll settle for the draw though - I honestly thought that it would be beyong us particularly since the Stars seemed to have got over their Birmingham fiasco with two decent results over the weekend.
It makes me wonder if we can perhaps go to some of our other graveyard tracks with renewed hope of taking something.
It's easy to get carried away though and we may find that, now that King's Lynn's invincibility at the Norfolk Arena has been exposed as a myth, other teams may now go there with a bit more ambition than in the past and also come away with a result or two. Time will tell whether this King's Lynn side is as good as some might have thought before the season started. Certainly with riders like Harrison and Tacey in the team you never know what you're going to get. Sometimes they're match winners; other times they're bloody awful!

For King's Lynn it looks like Rustyitis has taken hold, with Harrison just good for 3 points from 4 rides Rusty rode better than his points suggest, he didn't make any gates but was riding very well and trying everything to get past the riders in front. Edinburgh are a much improved team that will be up there challenging through the season, with a pretty solid look throughout the team. Kings Lynn were fortunate to get anything out of this as it certainly could have been worse.

For King's Lynn it looks like Rustyitis has taken hold, with Harrison just good for 3 points from 4 rides. That should make you happy then.
Fyi Rusty rode his heart out last night, but as you weren't there, you wouldn't know that would you?
Looks like Rustyitis set in again tonight at a rather wet Sheffield, 6+1 from 4, terrible.
