Totally embarrassing.
Well done Swindon!

Give Swindon credit - they have seemingly built a team which fights for one and another. If McGowan can get his arse in gear.... Yes, indeed. While I believe Ipswich to be a poor side, there's no doubt that Rosco has been very canny in the close season. I now see the rationale behind signing Leigh Adams and the difference between this year and last. Adams has a group of riders around him this year that are prepared to listen and learn - it's helping those riders and it seems to have given Adams extra zest as well.

Interesting, very interesting. You have to say that Joel Parsons has had a super night for the Robins. Also have to say, because I'm a fair-minded short of chap, that the screaming imbecile has done a very good job in the pits. OK, whoever has kidnapped the old Mongol, please could they return him. ;D I have my own shock admission tonight - Rosco, for once, did a rather good job. He fired up his team, while keeping hold of his own temper. In contrast, the new Ippo manager seems a bit clueless - there's no way Schramm's third ride should have been left until Heat 14. He should have been put out in Heat 12, to give Tobi K a breather after his fall in the previous race. Heat 14 could have been transformed with Kroner out there. Maybe someone should get on the phone to recall Mike Smillie

what's happened to swidders... Personally I think he was just trying too hard in front of the cameras.

Well, not the best racing you'll ever see, but the tense meeting situation meant that it was almost always interesting and the last few heats were even compelling.

Bit like Belle Vue last Monday, I thought. Nonsense. The meeting result was never in doubt last week and if you think it was, you're deluded.

Maybe someone should get on the phone to recall Mike Smillie Perish the thought! Wash your mouth out Genghis! ;D The only thing that saved tonight from total embarrassement was that the gormless one wasn't there.

The only thing that saved tonight from total embarrassment was that the gormless one wasn't there. Smillie would probably have put Kroner in Ht 11 to replace the tape-touching Schramm as well - what was that all about? Meant you were always likely to go into either Ht 12 or Ht 14 with someone who wasn't going to score a point (well, with Johnston in Ht 14 make that two). Should've put Schramm off 15 metres and used his rides up. As it was, Ht 14, Johnston and Schramm and an almost guaranteed Swindon 5-1. And with Adams waiting in the pits for Ht 15.

Totally agree on both counts, and maybe, just maybe, Pearson has found his vocation?

Totally agree on both counts, and maybe, just maybe, Pearson has found his vocation? I'd be content for him to be doing the pit interviews - it's his screamed commentary that I can't stand. By the way, has anyone noticed an old Mongol's prediction in the first post? Kelvin Tatum MBE might've been surprised by the result, but I wasn't.

Yep, looks like Ippo have actually founder a plonker for a TM who is worse than Smillie!
How on earth did he pick 1 and 3 for heat 15, they were miles less effective than 2 and 4 all night! Not to mention the Chris Schramm 3rd ride farce!
