I've a feeling this might not be pretty for the Witches. But I still think Swindon would be a better balanced side with McGowan at No 2 (always a better rider when paired with a class act), Wright at No 4 and the mightily impressive Korneliussen at No 5.

seriously lw.. what was that all about? , Piotr just wasn't at the races , I know track conditions were tricky, but look at the all the Ippo Fallers.... Thought you guys had pulled a master stroke when Schramm touched the tapes to be replaced by Kroner, then it all went to shit.. Really cannot see Swindon doing that again away from home this season..

Seems to be the story of our season so far, really strong for the first half of the meeting and then throw it away. Arena (thanks Kev ) home, Wolves at home, Coventry away and now Swindon. We've no staying power. As for Swidders, been brilliant so far, no way am I going to knock him for one poor performance. I agree about the Schrammy tapes exclusion, really felt we'd benefit from that one. Amused by the Sky commentary though, a record number of errors tonight I reckon. And as for Green, what is he on, Misko and Mads (oh sorry Troy) apologising after their collision!

Perhaps we will pull off a surprise away win on Thursday as we did at that other track a few weeks ago but I think this time half the home team would have to be missing for that to happen and several of our team would require sanatogen intravenously to keep up their stamina for their allotted rides...

Well Simmo and the boys have gone through a tape of the Swindon horror show at Foxhall and they have been told in no uncertain terms that it was unnacceptable. Good news on the riding order, Johnston moves to 2 and Swiderski moves to 4 so at last the Miskowiak/Swidders partnership is disolved as well as the unimpressive Louis/Johno partnership so this should help us. Swidders in 14 should help too. Tobi and Schramm also swap places, Tobi at 6 and Schramm at 7. www.ipswich-witches.com/News%20archive%202008/latestnews=200408.htm
