2008 Elite League kicks off tomorrow with the Eagles taking on the Panthers. The teams are:
Eastbourne Eagles 1.Scott Nicholls 2.Lewis Bridger 3.Lee Richardson 4.Cameron Woodward 5.Eddie Kennett 6.Simon Gustafsson 7.James Brundle
Peterborough Panthers 1.Hans Andersen 2.Sam Simota 3.Kenneth Bjerre 4.Morton Risager 5.Danny King 6.Henrik Moller 7.Claus Vissing
I think this should be a home win, and maybe even the Panthers 3rd big defeat in 3 days.

I suspect it will be a third thrashing in as many days for the Panthers. But you never know.

An emphatic (57:31) win for Eastbourne with Richardson on a 12 point maximum. Hate to say it, but Peterborough's reserves look out of their depth.

Whoops. So excited by Magosi's score tonight, and listening to music at the same time.

A good solid display from the Eagles, with a nice confidence boosting 5 points from Brundle.
Peterborough were very poor, Andersen and Bjerre scored well but the other 5 only managed 10 between them.

You're weird. Yes, that is confirmed by the fact that I went. Always enjoyable to see the look on The Swales face when they get beaten. I had another motive in going as I knew a friend of mine would be there as part of Scott's team and it was nice to see her still enjoying speedway. The racing was enjoyable and I thought the track staff did a terrific job after the short sharp shower of rain. Got home at 00:45am and did not arise until 11:50 (corrected time).
