I have been a bit low of late and my fellow members and also lost a good mate on Friday and most likely the best Motorcycle racing artist ever: Rod Organ at the age of 60 - he just passed away, and within hours we learned the loss of the passing of the 25 year old only child daughter of some close friends of ours... We just never know what is around the corner waiting for us. R.I.P Rod & Susan I will be producing a new signed limited edition print of Chris Harris as we discussed on another thread and have been supplied with great a photo reference by my mate Steve Dixon. I'll be starting that as soon as I feel up to it and it will be available from the end of October. It will be limited to 100 prints only. Also, being like many on here interested in guitars and guitarists I though about doing a series of prints of guitarists and actually sticking a small replica guitar which are commercially available from music shops, as used by the star on the print. This one of George Harrison is an example with his Gretsch Countryman. I could do also Eric Clapton with his Fender Strat or Jimi Hendrix with his LH Fender Strat or John Lennon with his 6 string Rickenbacker. As always guys appreciate your input with suggestions of other possible subjects. Cheers everyone, Jim

Sorry to hear about the loss of your friends, Jim. It seems like we don't have to worry about what we say on this forum, unlike the BSF. Happy Posting. Looking forward to seeing the picture of Chris Harris.

As said sorry to hear about your loss of a fellow artist. You moving into a new area of artwork with the George Harrison picture, look better if it were Parfitt and Rossi though Will you be spectating or trading at Donington on 23rd Sept? Or are they still charging the earth? Welcome back!

Thanks everyone, I'll be OK as long as I keep taking the tablets. ;D Jive; poor old Rod's funeral is on Tuesday morning and his hearse is a Hayabusa sidecar outfit that will take him to the crematorium. What a way to go - on one of the fastest production bikes in the world. Sadly, we will not be at Donington for the BSB Jive. Its too much for us now these BSB rounds and we cannot afford them. I think its £450 + vat for the cheapest stand in the exhibition centre or £750 (half size) £1500 + vat for a site trade in the infield area. We are at Scarborough next weekend for some proper road racing with the likes of Guy Martin, John McGuinness etc. Why don't you see if you can get up there for the weekend with Ryan. See some road racing and enjoy a weekend at Scarborough? I meant to give Ryan a Toseland print of him on the Fila Ducati from a couple of years back so he can have one if you come.(If not if you pm me your address I can send him one in the post no problem though..) Then we are at Mallory Park for the sidecars only event in October then a week later the Stafford Classic Bike show- then that's it for the year for us. No NEC and no Brighton this year.

No NEC? Was looking forward to seeing you there! I can quite believe the price of Donington trading, the quality of stalls is nowhere near as good as they used to be, even at Cadwell there was one stall selling tents, fold up chairs and skull and cross bone flags?!?!?!? I can't do Scarborough one weekend then Donny the next, the mrs will have a right fit lol (as I am working on going to Valencia and Magny Cours ) Ihope Tuesday goes well and give him a good send off Jim

Just like to publicly thank Jim for the tremendous gesture he gave my son this week. A stunning James Toseland print from his days at Fila Ducati, to say he was thrilled is putting it mildly.
Many thanks Jim!
