Don't be surprised if it takes a little longer, Jacques. It's a print-on-demand site, so they have to print it off once it's ordered. The ones I've ordered myself have taken between 6 and 10 days to arrive.
I hope you enjoy it. I tried to be as objective as I could with the end of season stuff!
(PS - Thanks everyone for the positive responses!)

Grachan, If your attending the forthcoming Speedway & Grasstrack show at Coventry on Saturday February the 9th, your quite welcome to put some for sale on my stand if you wish.
Author signed ones are usually more popular too.
We also accept all credit cards.
Should be a good turnout and will be of interest if there is a bit of Coventry content in the book.

Jim, That's an absolutely amazing offer. Thanks. I've never been to one of those events before but often mean to. I reckon I just might have to make the effort now! The only thing that worries me is that I'd have to order a batch to bring and they might take a while to arrive, so I might not get them in time. Keep an eye on your messages. I'll send you a PM.

Grachan if you have any at Coventry on that day i would be delighted to buy a copy . King Jamie ( Edinburgh fan on the BSF ) wrote a book about Edinburgh winning the PL in 2003 . And while the subject matter for that book might have been distasteful and only for people with strong stomachs , it was a thoroughly enjoyable read . A season viewed from the side of a devoted fan is always interesting and if your book is as good as King Jamie's then i look forward to it .

Cheers everyone. Can I just say that there is only one very (very) mild swear word in it - and that was said by Seb Ulamek over the PA, not by me. I am much more cultured than that King Jamie character you see!
Not sure about the Swindon track shop yet. It's something I'm looking into.

You could always try www.speedway.org Grachan. They have a "shop" section with books, both old & new www.speedway.org/books/index.htmlNever had a book to put on there so i don't know, but would have thought it was free And there is also www.speedwayplus.co.uk the guy who runs that is friendly and always looking for new features. He might even put an extract online to advertise it

Flamin' 'eck! It's in German! ;D I think it is a well visited site though. If you contact the woman,"Ottie".She seems to be more active than the guy in running the site.Plus i know she looks after foreign riders for some of the clubs.Last year she picked up the Davidsson brothers and taxied them around. So i think she speaks good english
