I was waiting for that ;D...It won't be just him though sadly, but it's not just us affected either, will be very interesting only seeing the top riders on TV I'm sure they're chuffed to bit's to be out of Jobs..

Wacks - but ask any Swindon fan who their biggest local rivals are, and they'll say Oxford not Reading. For instance, young Orion. Which track does he have a major bee in his bonnet and chip on his shoulder about. ;D ;D

Not all granted, but a good few of the top riders showed that GB wasn't top their priorities in recent years Jacques despite demanding the lion share of the clubs salaries.
They made their bed so to speak.

They made their bed so to speak. Yes, and now any rider who demands the earth can be chucked out on their arse and replaced by a rider with a greater commitment to British Speedway. Wages have now spiralling out of control and this should put an effective cap on them.

I can't believe we're arguing about which club Orion chooses to slag off... and treating it like some coveted trophy. ;D ;D

Well it would have been the only trophy any of the TV clubs would have won last year.

Yes, and now any rider who demands the earth can be chucked out on their arse and replaced by a rider with a greater commitment to British Speedway. Wages have now spiralling out of control and this should put an effective cap on them. There are already lower averaged riders demanding an increase in money. We've effectively forced out the top riders, we have riders leaving the country anyway, and now the fans are unhappy. Eventually there won't be enough riders to fill all the teams, and fans aren't going to want to pay £15 to watch riders of a lesser quality than they are used to - they can go to the PL for that and pay less. Speedway can't sustain itself without the riders and the supporters.

If I were a Coventry fan I wouldn't be too down-hearted by this. A team consisting of Harris, Schlein, Janniro, Allen, Risager, Smolinski and the Weirdity would be very strong in a 38.85 league. Consider the poor buggers at Swindon, where over one-quarter of the available points have already been used up on Leigh Adams.

I'll be very interested to see who goes and stays...I just hope they don't take forever to do it this year..

But you see my point, Coventry have the flexibility to flourish under this points limit, although Lakeside look best placed, with Andreas Jonsson on a very attractive average.

Wolves could be looking good, with Karlsson brothers, Hamill, Lindgren and Howe as a backbone, with the Rocket back at reserve.
