No, not that kind of trump. From www.speedwayworld.tvPOOLE promoter Matt Ford believes he has signed two of the strongest reserves in the Elite League. The Pirates have seen several title bids scuppered in recent years by a lack of lower-order strength, but Ford believes the acquisitions of Zibi Suchecki and Freddie Eriksson gives the club plenty of scoring potential at reserve. Suchecki joins on loan from Ipswich, whilst Eriksson was signed after the Pirates' plans to track Craig Watson were ended after some confusion over the Australian's starting average. Ford said: "I fully believe having Freddie coming in to support Zibi gives us one of the best reserve pairings in the league. "Due to the points limit reduction, everyone has been scratching around for a three-point rider who can genuinely do the job and not just fill a gap. I believe we've got that man. "Freddie has experience of all the Elite League tracks and as a number seven will put an end to the Achilees heel we've suffered in that department over the past three or four years."
ELITE LEAGUE RESERVES: Belle Vue: Steve Boxall, Michal Rajkowski Coventry: Stanislaw Burza, TBC Eastbourne: Simon Gustafsson, TBC Ipswich: Tobias Kroner, Chris Schramm Lakeside: Lubos Tomicek, Ricky Kling Peterborough: Henrik Moller, Claus Vissing Poole: Zibi Suchecki, Freddie Eriksson Swindon: Sebastian Alden, Theo Pijper Wolverhampton: Nicolai Klindt/Kenneth Hansen, Christian Hefenbrock.

I think it's a tough call. Potentially he's right - Freddie could be an awesome signing. But with Eastbourne yet to announce their final rider, "potentially" they could be up there too, along with Lakeside. It's all about ambition. Whoops, that's Middlo's line. I mean, it's all about potential.

Poole's reserve pairing looks OK, but Lakeside have probably the best reserve pairing in the league. Oxford, at least, had decent reserves last season, it's just a shame we had six of them.

I reckon the Wolves pairing are much stronger! ;D I actually agree with that, particularly if you use Klindt at reserve. In fact Hefenbrock could well have a point to prove and is more than capable of making it!! Naturally, Lakeside's aren't to be underestimated either.

I don't think Freddie will beat many of the other reserves in the league tbh.

A couple of days ago Genghis was praising Young Stanley and Young Cookie...........thoroughly decent chaps I believe he called them!!! And now we have this!!!! Poole's reserve pairing looks OK, but Lakeside have probably the best reserve pairing in the league. I can see Genghis standing on the terraces waving his red, white and blue blow up hammer before long. ;D

I can see Genghis standing on the terraces waving his red, white and blue blow up hammer before long. ;D Only if you sign Lukas Dryml in place of Andreas Jonsson. ;D

Call me a traditionalist if you like, but we'll stick with Andreas (a true GP class rider), thank you very much.

I'm with Lupus on this one . I reckon Wolves have the most potent bottom end strength .

Naturally biased, but i think the Wolves pairing also look very good. And i think Ford is sounding like Shovlar here. That pairing looks decidedly dodgy and i can't see them(both) lasting much further than June at Poole. Will be interesting to see how Simon Gustafsson goes this year. And like i said before, which Tomicek will we see more of?The rider who just failed to reach the GPs or the one who gets one or two points? And Kling is no more than a 3.5 rider
