I know i'm wasting my time with this nomination, as the forum has such a massive anti-Rosco bias, but i'd like to nominate Chris Holder for once again showing his utter contempt for British Speedway. Well, I'll second that actually. But that's just cos I don't like him and he ruined my Cardiff experience by winning ! Was a real anti-climax tbh. Not sure what you are referring to, but maybe only scoring 6 last night would be a worthy reason !

Why, what's he done? If you watch Holder and his performances, you'll see he regularly takes a 'night off', last night at Arlington 6 points, at Belle Vue 5 points, at Peterborough 5 points, and Poole lose all those matches. It can't be argued that he's out of form, he has after all just won the British Gp and is just about to lead Australia into the world cup, and you certainly can't argue the point with a Poole fan on the BSF, where i've just been accused of being xenophobic. In years gone by when virtually all the world's top riders rode in the British league, Adams and Crump always averaged double figures, in the shockingly poor 2010 league Holder averages 8, say's it all really. Still as Holder is popular in speedway i'm wasting my breath(or fingers) speedway fans prefer to constantly stick the boot into the Roscos, Nicholls and Nicky P's, than see the truth.

There is a far more obvious reason for his poor form this week. If you read the match report from Poole on Wednesday against Lakeside, they mention that the reason he conceded a 5-1 in heat 1 was because he was so overwhelmed that the club had presented a widescreen plazma TV to him. www.poolespeedway.net/10-website/menu.phpNow looking at his score from Eastbourne last night I can only assume the new TV is having a long-term effect. He must have spent all day yesterday setting it up, so hence he wasn't focussed at Arlington last night. Poor show by the Pirates management upsetting the mindset of one of their key riders.

Hatcham, Holder seems to be one of the few GP riders with a bit of loyalty left towards British Speedway, so I'll cut him a bit of slack. Apart from last Saturday, his GP form has also been a little bit inconsistent. I'm not sure how old Holder is - around 23 or 24 I would guess. We'll see how he goes next year, by which time he'll be old hand at mixing together his GP commitments with his domestic ones. If he continues to struggle with Poole whilst winning GPs, then he'll deserve a bit of criticism. But I'll cut him slack for the course of this year.

And breathe.......................... ;D ;D Actually I think that a lot of top riders have been inconsistent this year, so he's not alone. Poole are hardly a one man team, and they stuffed us again on Wednesday night. I won't lose any sleep over them dropping a few points, it makes things more interesting for the rest of us. I take you point about him as an individual though.

After much deliberation and soul-searching I've come to the decision that the winner of this weeks FOTW Award goes to:
Alun Rossiter
Purely for his idiotic rant at Belle Vue, whilst live on TV, on Monday.

Dreadful choice ! should have gone to the BSPA once again for forcing a couple of English riders out of the elite league. Stupid fucking bastards, when will they ever ever learn ?
