Credit to the 4 Aces still standing.
With a fit full team we'd have thumped Poole.

Apologies for that last post....my concern should have been with William.
That was one hell of a knock he took.

Oh Well... Guess we were on a hiding to nothing once we lost Hans and PK. Proud of the 4 Aces that battled on. If only they could make a start once in a while though. Cue more Poole are gonna romp the league posts on the Oppressive Speedway Forum

It seems Lawson wasn't the only one hurt in that crash: "What happened to William Lawson must have really been the last straw for Morton and all you Belle Vue fans out there. That would have been an amazing heat win and what credit to him to go out there and battle out in front against Chris Holder and Davey Watt. We were all stood around the monitor watching the race including all the riders. We gave out a chorus of 'oh my gosh', 'ouch's' and 'oooouuuh's' with dropped jaws. The fall looked bad but when Davey's bike went into the back of William I thought it was really serious; I bet he's feeling worse for where this morning. What the cameras didn't see though, I'm not sure you would have wanted to see it mind you, was Davey's bum. In trying to put his bike down to avoid the Aces reserve the Poole captain burnt his rear end red raw! In all seriousness he was running around the pits in agony. So on the note of a burnt bum, what a night it was. I wish all the injured riders from last night a speedy recovery. " Extracted from Charlie Webster's blog at www.skysports.com

Well he must heal PDQ, because he's just been on facebook from Sweden where he is going to race the Swedes at go-karting before tonight's meeting!!
