This week sees a double feast of Speedway on SKY as firstly at 6pm we get the Midlands derby between the Wolves and the Bees followed by a top of the table clash between Poole and Belle Vue. Wolves have so far laughed off expectations they will struggle after winning the title in 2009 with a solid start to the season. The question remains can they keep the momentum going to claim a play off spot come September and can they keep Joe Screen away from the Burger Van long enough to warrant his permanent position in the 2010 Wolves side. Coventry, on the other hand, are on fire after recording their first win in 8 months against Lakeside. Expect lots of shots of Rosco grimacing as his team, once again, embarass themselves in front of the TV cameras. On the plus side we, hopefully, get to see the UK debut of the Bees new boys Przem, Erm, Prezy, Erm, Oh sod it, that young kid Pawlicki....which I've since found we won't as he's riding in a Polish U21 Meeting. Bugger!!! Once the Wolves have seen off the Bees we head down to the coast as for the third time this season Poole are at home to 2nd placed Belle Vue. Christ knows how Belle Vue are 2nd as their woeful away form continued at the weekend with heavy defeats to Lakeside and an under strength Eastbourne. With Poole only once this season not claiming at least a point this will be the equivalent of a Heavyweight Vs Lightweight boxing match. Expect another 50+ score for the Pirates whilst only Hans Andersen and Peter Karlsson will provide the only real resistance from The Aces.

Utter dross thus far from The Green. The commentary isn't helping either! Millard is always useless, but Havvy is stumbling over his words tonight too. That track looks awful. Can't see this one going the distance.

Someone should wipe the camera lens too as I couldn't make out half of what was going on in heat 4...........not that there was much happening.

It makes you realise that Nigel Pearson is a very good commentator. It certainly makes you realise Pearson is better than Millard anyway

Havvy is stumbling over his words tonight too. Dreadful......can't bear to listen to the bloke. Not that we can really hear him tonight, anyway, which is a good thing..... And Charlie can't seem to get her tongue round anything again tonight either....
