The first one is tonight from Plymouth.
It's a right old weird format I can tell thee. 45 riders in the 3 events. Would it not have been easier to run 2 semi-finals with 16 riders and the usual 20 heat format?

No, I think it's safe to say that all eyes were on Tai and Bridger. It was especially pleasing as, at the end of the heats, Tai, Bridger and Haines were all on the same points. Having each beat the other, they had to have a ballot to see which two would go through to the final automatically, and Haines lost out, so had to do it the hard way through the Semi Final. He rode a great race in the final to keep Tai behind him. Always in the right place at the right time to shut the door on him. It was a long night though. I think the racing finished at something like 10.40 - having started at 8pm. Nice to finally meet Genghis though

Nice to meet you last night Munners. Joe Haines rode superbly and thoroughly deserved to win, I thought Bridger was going to win, but he choose the wrong gate in the final. And well done to Kyle Hughes on reaching the final.

This post from the Panthers forum did make me laugh..... ;D ;D ;D Haha course I knew, mean Lakeside, I dont think there is any good bits about it? Food last night: Bacon, Sausage and Egg roll with a Brunettes women hair in it. Scampi, Chips, Peas and Coleslaw, Scampi was fresh.... to fresh it was raw. Cheeseburger and Chips.... had to buy a drink after, wood shards from the burger, that though. Tea.... tasted funny aswell. Overal, dining experiance..... 0.01 out of 10.

Oh dear, not exactly a glowing recommendation for the Cafe then! I had a burger from there late afternoon and it was lovely! Nowt wrong with my ham, egg and chips either. And only £3.99 for what I would call a proper meal, much better than the fiver you have to spend at most tracks for a burger and just a few chips. One thing I would never criticise about Lakeside is the food - it's the best food you'll get at a speedway track in the UK. And interesting that the negative comments were on the Peterborough forum. The food at the EOES is a load of crap.
