Best Elite League Team: None, they're all crap. Actually Oxford rode in a 4TT at Swindon at EL level, so my vote goes to the mighty and glorious Oxford Cheetahs.
Best Premier League Team: King's Lynn.
Best National League Team: Bournemouth.
Best Extraliga Team: Who cares about that Polish tosh?
Best Elitserien Team: Vastervik, because they were so friendly whilst we were staying there.
EL Rider Of The Year: Leigh Adams.
PL Rider Of The Year: Chris Schramm.
NL Rider Of The Year: Kyle Hughes.
Extraliga Rider Of The Year: Again, who cares about that Polish tosh?
Elitserien Rider Of The Year: Tomasz Gollob.
EL Most Improved Rider: Ben Barker.
PL Most Improved Rider: Darcy Ward.
NL Most Improved Rider: Kyle Hughes.
Extraliga's Most Improved Rider: Tosh, tosh, tosh.
Elitserien's Most Improved Rider: Eric Andersson.
Meeting Of The Season: Double-header at Scunny at end of May, Scunthorpe v Edinburgh followed by Scunthorpe v Plymouth. Top stuff.
Ride Of The Year: Any ride in which Emil left Nicki P on the floor.
2009 Rider Of The Year: Jason Crump, World Champion for a third time, in tricky circumstances.
Villain Of The Year: Colin Horton. OK, he'd already fucked out of British Speedway by the time that 2009 had started, but he's still my Villain Of The Year every year until Oxford Speedway returns.

Hatcham - Can you confirm who Buczkowski rides for in the E-Liga and who Andersson rides for in the E-Serien?
Genghis - I'll accept your vote for Colin Horton but not for Oxford as (sadly) they didn't compete in the EL in 2009. One off returns don't count.
Thanking You Kindly.

Sorry Youngy i can't as i don't follow Polish or Swedish speedway, i'll guess that Bucz rides for Bydgoszcz and Andersson the Gothenburg Cobras ? I've no-doubt Schumi or Sub could confirm.

The magic of Google. Bucz does indeed ride for BigJosh and Andersson for Masarna, Gasarna (presumably Div 1 and 2 sides) but his website does state he rode for Vastervik so I'll use them for his Elitserien side.

Best National League Team: Sorry, don't know enough about the NL to make a fair judgement. NL Rider Of The Year: Pass NL Most Improved Rider: Pass Villain Of The Year: Emil Saintiamnot Ah, you noticed the way I had spelt Emil's name in the Flapperjack thread. As for the National League, here's a crash course of the 2009 season. Bournemouth were easily the best team in the division. As for riders, that's a harder one to call. Jay Herne was the quality act in the division, but as an Australian (or rather half-Australian, but does have patriality), he's maybe not what this league is all about. Craig Cook won the NLRC, but only after Kyle Hughes lost a chain on the final bend whilst leadng the run-off for first place ahead of Cook. It's probably between those three, plus Jerran Hart, as to who is the NL Rider Of The Year, and between Hughes, Cook and Hart as to the NL's most improved rider.

Youngy, in that case my EL vote goes to the Belle Vue Aces, because there's no way I'm voting for any of the other eight. ;D Actually Ippo are OK as well, even if it is the murder capital of the UK.
