Very simple rules. Everyone gets one (and only one!) vote. No split votes - just one person can get your nomination. You can discuss other people's choices, but please post your vote in the form of e.g. "VOTE: Mickey Mouse". Once you've voted, I will quote your post so that there are no last-minute tactical change of votes like last year (yes, I'm looking at you Kev ). Deadline for voting is December 30, so that the winner can be announced before the end of the year.

You can have my nominations now: For Mutts of the year, the Hatcham vote goes to Schumi for the quality and quantity of her unstinting input to this forum. Mutts 2009 Schumi.

Seconded - but so that I don't fall foul of Genghis's rules : VOTE: Schumi I, and many others, am very appreciative of the work she does to bring us all the latest speedway news - especially from overseas. Thank you Schumi.

My vote and my heart-felt thanks goes to Shane Parker for his wonderful 6 seasons as a Glasgow Tiger . His time at Glasgow is now at an end , but him , his wife Anji and their two kids will always have a special place in our hearts .

Munners, my rules aren't that bad are they? Well, as a non X-Factor fan Genghis, this comment may be lost on you, but I did wonder whether you were Louis Walsh in disguise ;D

Honorable mention for Schumi, but my vote must go to Kim Jansson, who has moved on with his life after speedway and has made all who know him very proud.
