I'd like to nominate Lewis Bridger and Nicolai Klindt for turning up at the Kenny Smith memorial when Tai Woffinden and Scott Nicholls pulled out "sick".

I would like to nominate Tony Mole, the saviour of so many speedway clubs over the years. Happy retirement Mr. Mole.

Being an independently thinking female I'm going to ignore the nominations and go my own sweet way The last Mutts Nuts of the 2009 season goes to a man who has provided speedway fans throughout the country with entertainment whenever he has visited, although it might not have been immediately obvious. In the years he's been in his job he has brought a great sense of team into the club and by god it shows from the performances he has got out of his charges. He's done it in a quiet, dignified fashion but IMHO he is the reason behind the success of the Stars, and he's managed it despite some of the bloomers and cock ups from his promoters Fingers crossed he can do the same in the job he took up this year. Mutts Nutts weeks 32 & 33 Rob Lyon

Thanks SL. And that concludes for Mutt's Nuts for the 2009 season. We'll be starting up again in March, but we will have "The Mutt's Nuts of 2009" which will run throghout December with the winner declared on New Year's Eve.
